Patch 8 finally releasing just days before a 4-day holiday weekend while I'm in the middle of battling a severe stress-related depressive episode means I'll be couch rotting and romancing wizards, vampires, and buff tieflings for the forseeable future.

I saw someone suggesting that instead of AI-generated character art you should find actors/actresses to "cast" in your character's roles to help with picturing your characters as you write and that's something I've done since I first started writing! It's one of my favorite parts of pre-writing!!

Apparently, the pipeline from "ugh, this is lame, why are we doing this" to "okay, it's actually low-key sort of good" to "Wait! What happens next?! Is he going to make it home?! [insert 30 min rant about favorite songs and theories]" is approximately 12 songs. 😁 #epicthemusical #teacherlife

I teach 8th Grade English and we've been studying Greek Mythology and The Hero's Journey....so what better culminating activity than listening to EPIC: The Musical and tracking Odysseus' journey?? Forever in awe of Jorge Rivera-Herrans and this masterpiece 😍

You know why it rains so much during the spring? Because Persephone is sad that she has to leave The Underworld and Hades for 6 months.

I'm not going to lie...this actually makes it WAY easier for me to mentally deal with these crazy fluctuating temps!! 😁 Just imagining Persephone needing a little cuddle time and I can't blame her one bit. 🖤

With the state of the world being so....*gestures wildly*....I really think that it would just be great if @hadestownmusical.bsky.social released the pro-shot version immediately. Pretty please?? Willing to make a questionable deal with a certain king of the mine if it helps??

Today in: "wtf is this Christian nonsense?" A temple in *Greece* dedicated in part to the worship of Zeus, the literal King of the Greek Gods, has been targeted by the Greek Orthodox religion for being unlawful. They ordered it bricked up so no one may enter to worship there. 💔

Life is so short. We are all going to die. Imagine choosing to inspire hate instead of sowing love. Imagine choosing profit over people. Imagine seeing the worst rather than hoping for the best. Love is what makes life tolerable and good. Those who take that away are the cruelest, most wretched.

I've been struggling to nail down where my "lore" started (per the trend making the rounds on social media right now). Tonight, I started watching "The Pitt" and realized that it all started with ANOTHER Noah Wyle med show I used to sneak watch when my mom was obsessed in the mid to late 90s.
