Here are some close-ups of Eight’s main features. It’s been a very fun journey designing and crafting the final designer toy. We poured a lot of effort into conveying our love for this handheld-doggo hybrid. Every feature and detail was handmade with care.

The Making of GemuGal - Step 06: Cast Away To make more GoGos and Eights, we made Silicone Molds of their Master Parts. We poured epoxy resin in these silicone molds to replicate the figure parts.

GemuGal GoGo @gemu-gal.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

The Making of GemuGal - Step 05: To Mold & To Hold We needed a way to make multiple copies of GoGo and Eight. Enter: Silicone Molding! We did a lot of research on this topic and eventually applied the info we gathered on test molds. After a bunch of trial and error, we did get the hang of it. 1/3

GemuGal GoGo @gemu-gal.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

The Making of GemuGal - Step 04: Master that Piece After 3D printjng all of GoGo and Eight’s parts, the next step in the entire process was to remove all the imperfections from each piece. That means removing layer lines and fixing gaps. 1 of 3

GemuGal GoGo @gemu-gal.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

The Making of GemuGal - Step 03: The Fine Print Turning our 3D models into physical figures necessitated a 3D Printer. After much thought, we ended up getting a Bambu Lab P1S -- a filament printer, not a resin printer. 😁

GemuGal GoGo @gemu-gal.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

The Making of GemuGal - Step 02: Model it Out With the character turnaround drawings done, it was time to create the models of GoGo and Eight. We went with 3D software Blender, and it cost us zero dollars 😀

home-made, hand-made, from start to finish! happy new year, y'all 🥳 over the holidays, we hung out with family and friends. had a lot of fun, ate a lot of food 🫢 one common misconception they had was that we outsource the production of GemuGal to a separate company.
