Honourable mention to Ferngully because that movie still upsets and terrifies me. Mostly because people were screaming that we were killing the planet when I was born and we are still killing the planet today. Hexxus would be proud.

Total Recall was my favourite movie when I was three years old lol. But there were a few scenes I couldn’t watch. His eyes popping out, the extraction via nose, the creepy belly dude and the fake head.

I’d question anyone who thinks it’s fair game to have sex with someone if they’re unable to consent or saying no. It’s disgusting. I saw that creator, his comments on his latest posts/videos are disappointing. It’s just giving him more traffic. Fuck that guy. I hope his victim(s) are supported.

I’m so sorry. 😞 And it hurts that so many men don’t get it, even the ones closest to us. For the ones who are so vocal about “protecting women”, they’re the ones doing it to us.

Just watched Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. It had moments that dragged on and I ended up looking at my phone (ironic, really), but it was good. Worth checking out.

I’m not saying it was terrible, but it was flat and the story was very messy. It’s rare that Dave falls asleep before me when we put a movie on.

Watching The Fog tonight. Despite loving horror movies and spending every weekend in our local rental shop, I never watched this one before. Apparently it’s shit and the original is better. 🤷‍♀️

Amazon delivered to my neighbour anyway. They knew. 🙃

Amazon just sent me a notification that their driver will be here any minute and I have JUST put my face mask on and I’m home alone. Oh no.

I’m dying my hair and then I’m going to do a face mask. Maybe shape my eyebrows. Self-care, right?

I just started playing the first game yesterday and it’s pretty fun. Enemies are only bullet sponges if you don’t use your abilities or upgrade your gear. My only issue is that there’s not a ton of hand holding, but that’s also pretty refreshing. I dunno, it’s fun and different for me.

I booked the last two days off because my mental health has been on a decline and I thought this would help. I’m back at work tomorrow and honestly, it hasn’t helped. I feel like I need a month.

I hate that for YouTube. 😭 Google does it on our personal inboxes at work. It sounds so corporate and gross too. Sucks all the personality out of an interaction.

Anyway, hair washed and waiting on dinner. Decided I need to play Control. Another game I bought at launch, didn’t play and then it was free on PS+ a while ago. 🙄 I’m on leave the next two days, so I hope I can beat it!

I spent most of the day doing a deep clean on the kitchen. It’s never “that bad” until you actually start lol. To put the spices and seasonings away I had to reorganise the spice cupboard for example. Oldest thing I found was best before Aug 2016. Wild, bc I’ve definitely deep cleaned since then!

It really sucks it’s not a disc. It’s not a total dealbreaker, but it’s given me pause. Haven’t preordered yet.

I love a CE but that’s too much. It’s a box of tat and toot.

140

Gemmy @gemmyentity.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

How does that GTA VI CE justify the price and still not include the game?! £349.99 for a pair of glasses, cap and a fanny pack. £100-120, MAYBE. But £350? Wtf. CE prices are getting out of hand.

Hopefully they’re able to come back, and hopefully the ex staff are willing to. They need hefty compensation - fuck winning our trust if the staff don’t have trust. They’re going to need people who know this game. The same people who brought that Bungie magic before. We can only hope.

I still can’t believe that we saved Destiny 2. It’s not over, but there’s solid hope. Us Guardians really went out there and made our own fate. We made our voices heard. 💪🏻

I started rewatching the Final Destination movies and we just finished 3. Dave said he hadn’t watched it before, which is wild to me. I must be a psychopath because I told him it has one of the best deaths in all the movies and this was my literal face during the tanning bed scene:

I think I’m just gonna nap and play Fire Emblem all weekend. ❤️

I wasn’t feeling right this week, so I made a GP appointment and it seems I now have a secondary chest infection. The Covid created bacteria which got into my lungs. Amazing. 🥲 I have antibiotics and been told to get plenty of bed rest. Had to cancel my plans again. ☹️

I don’t know why the Fire Emblem CE is so much more expensive coming from Nintendo (£13) than from Amazon. 🥴

I got Onimusha, Dawnwalker and Mortal Shell 2 sitting there and me and Dave decided to move on to Watch Dogs 2 as we finished the first game last week. …we don’t like it as much because the controls are different, but we’ll get used to it!

I finally feel over the Covid. It’s the first time I’ve had it like this. I felt like I’d been hit by a truck earlier this week, with the body aches, fever and nausea. I’m getting some lightheadedness when doing normal things though - like doing dishes or laundry. I hope that passes soon.

I managed to beat two games so far this weekend: Aphelion and Spider-Man 2. Aphelion was pretty good. I felt the pacing was a little off at times, but it wasn’t bad. Now running NG+ on Spider-Man for that 100% clear. I also stopped playing it New Year’s Day 2024, so I get to refresh my memory. 🤣

Hideo Kojima has left Sony for Xbox. Everyone is freaking out over Wolverine’s Metacritic score. The bad Sony PR continues…
