I would offer to send you a dog but the only one I have capable of the skills that help the best is a baby. He does, however, give his great-grans cuddles. Like almost *precisely* the same. They are exceedingly validating and healing. Sending you what peace we are able to find in this world. ♥

When I found out one of the teachers of the vocational class called him awful that was it, so if I have to go up there and sit in the office until someone does *something*, well, looks like I have morning plans for a while.

He has begged to be move to another class. Anything. Someone offered him 3D printing. He said YES! He's excited. Whoever told him failed to tell him that class is full. We're waiting on the mercy of a teacher who may not want a student who requires supports, though an aide goes with him.

I want my son to enjoy school and to not be pigeonholed because he is a student with a disability. Instead they do exactly that. The vocational class they forced him into is not a good fit for him. He needs to be treated like his neurotypical peers, and it frustrates him when he is not.

I loved BB, and I do enjoy the tangents on DTU, but I enjoy the documentary style stuff too when he's not running out of air and talking in the pit of his throat very much. BB was great for a laugh. Still is when I go back and watch the compilations.

Sanity update: The gaming PC is back. Cautious optimism is engaged since it was supposed to take a month or longer to fix (it took a week) and cost over $1k (it cost $300)... So far it runs, so we'll just hold on and see what happens.

See, I have no idea! I am not wise in the ways of the guinea pig. I thought modern ones were no bigger than my sneaker, so that was my line of thought too - that ones back then were closer to a capybara in size. I know people eat squirrel and rabbit but domesticating something so small seems a lot.

Apparently neolithic peoples of the Andes domesticated guinea pigs to consume? How big were they?! I am so confused why that animal was the choice. (They also domesticated llamas and llama cousins but noting guinea pigs specifically at well has thrown me for a loop)
