I also want duskbloods when it comes out and the magnet connection is nice ^_^' I mostly play in handheld mode and im noticing my hands hurt a lot less than the switch 1 when playing for more than an hour at a time

I got it since I had a launch year switch w/connectivity issues - it definitely feels a lot more solid, wayy better graphics and loading times (esp if youre playing online games like. fortnite or smth) for me it does feel worth it for myself but I dont have any strong feelings about recommending it

quick ink studies a few days apart - picked up my kakimori dip pen again and really love how it feels to draw with. ill have to get a sketchbook where the ink doesnt bleed (one of the reasons I havent used it much lately) a bit blocked creatively so just continuing to practice and learn

definitely! ive been using it regularly for taking pics of bugs but even just scrolling on it is super fun- lots of photographers and scientists on there too :] great for finding natural references of any animals, plants, fungi, etc

going for biology btw 🫡 just associates for now but maybe bachelors and beyond in the future if I get the chance. hope to do something around ecology or entomology eventually 🐛

for bugs ive been using inaturalist for references - i find its much better than pinterest for both finding new species and sometimes multiple pics/angles of the same bug. plus no risk of running into ai pics :) bugguide is good too for taxonomy

^_^ I dont post much publicly and I probably wont post much other than art so forgive any distance, lack of public replies, etc just know I appreciate the support and love I get for my art and the kind people that stop at booths at my market/say they keep up with my stuff online ❤️❤️❤️

i deleted instagram (and youtube) from my phone and only use bsky in browser, ive been spending more time scrolling than making art lately and I want to change that. I miss deviantart and posting on less algorithmically driven sites, and miss seeing stuff from people I actually follow

i dont have any cons for a bit so after i finish up commissions ill probably take some time to focus on personal projects :P i do hope to post a bit more since I do like sharing my stuff I think I just need to step away from social media for a bit to build a better relationship with it
