I wanted to get this out there as fast as I could. I do not endorse any crypto currency. I am not involved in any Gator Days or Gustopher cryptocurrency. Any of my art that was used for crypto currency was done without permission.

Probably. There was a second half to that too. If they cross your path and nothing bad happens immediately, it's supposed to be good luck instead. I suppose not tripping is good luck.

Just frill I think. Trim and fringe could also work. Wish the bullets on the belt were also 3D.

I'm so tired of being punished for other people's fuck ups. Gotta make several more phone calls tomorrow and hope I can reapply for my credit card. All because an agent mistakenly marked the legitimate one as fraudulent. Lost the cash back rewards too. Could have used that for groceries.

Wiping everything from my sheezy account. As soon as it actually *lets me*... I'm constantly getting logged out and not able to log back in for weeks at a time. Site never wants to fully load. Takes 5+ minutes to start to show images. It's not worth the stress to use it even for just browsing.

I remember having to let a manager take over for one of the most obscene tabs I ever saw, working as a cashier. Over $500 for less then 20 small cans of specialty formula. Thankfully the mom had a special assistance program to help cover most of it. Her kid would have starved without it.

The algorithm seems to be set to push right-wing crap if it detects games, especially stuff played by kids. I always start getting recommended that trash if I look at pokemon or wow stuff. The rest of my views are art/music, nature, engineering, and horror. Only games ever seem to trigger it.

They were rose petals that had been prepared like rice crispies somehow. Instead of shriveling up, they were puffy. They tasted wonderful. I've only ever seen them ONCE, during a tea ceremony, and I am still kinda mad about them not being real.

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

This sort of thing happens to me constantly. My dreams tend to be either neat random stuff, comic/videogame ideas, or this ongoing narrative that's been happening since I was 4. I am STILL trying to figure out how to make some of the foods I've tried. Particularly the baked rose petal crisps.

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

That's my assumption too. Staff's made it real clear they're mad they got furries and queer people instead of cryptobros. If it was JUST for accounts that consistently mistag/don't tag their NSFW, and hand applied like the rude label, it could have been so great.

This kind of thing is why my next sketchbook is gonna be a ring binder with removable pages. Just pop the page out, draw, pop the page back in. And all you need is a hole puncher to add different paper.

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I've done that before with a pencil sketch. And tried to brush (nonexistent) eraser crumbs off an iPad screen. Funny how habits work.

Does it use led instead of florescent bulbs? So many of the newer ones do, and it ruins stuff because it can't scan bright colors. Like, at all.

110

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

Huh. I've seen those in stores but never heard of anyone actually using them. Guess we know why.

010

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

No. They shouldn't take that much work to actually work. What brand are they?

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

It's too easy for the food to go into the lungs, if you don't know *exactly* how to feed them. It's probably just too scared to eat right now.

110

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Just keep it in a box with a soft towel and a shallow water bowl overnight. If it's not sick or injured, it should be fine till morning. Make sure it's covered so it doesn't climb out and keep it in a garage or unused bathroom. They can be carriers for parasites and disease so minimize handling it.

110

Geist @geisthour.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

DO NOT FORCE FEED IT. You can kill it doing that. It may also be illegal where you live, if you don't have the proper permits. Just keep trying to get a hold of a local wildlife rehabilitation center. Ours takes invasive species and just keeps them in a special center. Your's might as well.

Given that it’s 80F in mid March, I’m deploying the mosquito larvae traps today. It’s a pollinator safe way to drastically reduce your local mosquito population. We stopped even seeing larvae in the buckets after two months. Here’s my quick how-to.

Mosquito trap how. See https://www.audubonva.org/news/how-to-set-up-a-mosquito-larva-trap for details
