I kind of forgot how movie kids in the 80s/early 90s were not allowed complete happiness. Sure they could have a dog show them the meaning of Whitsuntide or whatever, but only if they were the only living survivor of the family shipwreck. Kids movies are brutal.

I think even that is offset by the general loss of skill and efficiency of the system as a whole, including employees. There was this Microsoft study a while ago that said it was detrimental to the quality of work from employees. And if they deteriorate, they can't fix AI mistakes. But we'll see ig
