Was about to go to sleep, then I noticed my package from #Funko arrived... Now I'm ready to meet #SamanthaScaffidi #Terrifier

My #Shadowheart #Funko arrived today, now I'm ready to meet #JenniferEnglish @twincitiescon.bsky.social next month... Can't wait to have her sign my Funko and my copy of #ClairObscur #Expedition33

And now I'm seeing that #TimJacobus (the artist behind all the memorable #Goosebumps books art) is going to be at #TwinCitiesCon this year! So I'm going to try and see if I can get my #HauntedMask Funko signed 🤘

I can't believe that I forgot to add #ZachAguilar to my list for #TwinCitiesCon2026! Managed to find 2 #Funkos in my collection for him to (hopefully) sign... Even though my list for signatures is getting insane, I hope I can get everything I bring with signed

Just finished getting the #Funkos out of my collection that I want signed next month at #TwinCitiesCon... Now I just have to wait for the last 3 that I had to order to arrive, and I'll be ready to go (compared to last year when I was looking for a couple up to the weekend before 🤣)

My #HazbinHotel #Vox #Funko arrived today...Now I'm ready to get it signed by #ChristianBorle next month at #TwinCitiesCon2026

I wish I would have had some funkos for #RobertBrianWilson and #JeremyDavies to sign at #Crypticon2026... I ended up settling on having them sign pictures of movie posters, since I couldn't pass up the opportunity. And now I have more to put with my signed Candyman movie poster pic 🤘

First night at #Minneapolis #Crypticon 2026 Got to meet @actordougjones.bsky.social which was my main reason for coming this year! I love every role he has had over the years, it always amazes me how much emotion comes thru so many different prosthetics...Not to mention how nice he is in person

As cool as the included statue is, the right arm is a little wonky, and comes off with the slightest touch...even though it's obviously designed as a click-on to prevent breaking, I'll probably end up gluing it some point in the future

My Collectors edition of #HighOnLife2 came today! As much as I would have preferred to just get the physical game, I ended up buying the collectors edition just so I could have both #HighOnLife and it's sequel as #physical disks.

Platinum #247, #ChainedEchoes An amazing turned based RPG, the game starts off as a story about war and nuclear weapons but it ends up hitting on so many other themes and it handles them so well (from corruption in religion, reincarnation, and how everyone is capable of bad/good) Highly recommend

I opened the mystery case and this is what the number Gods blessed me with! Nightmare #Luffy, Glow-in-Dark #Brook, #Ryuma, #GeckoMoria, #Perona AND #Perona CHASE! I honestly opened the crate fully prepared to not get the 1/72 chase...I would have been happy with just normal Perona and Gecko Moria

I found a mystery case of #OnePiece #Funkos and I'm about to break the case to see if I can get #Perona Even if the voice in the back of my head is telling me to save the crate and leave it sealed

#Platinum #246 #TheAdventuresofElliot #TheMillenniumTales Great game that, probably my favorite Zelda-like I've played in a long time...I thought the story would be inconsequential, but by the end (going for the true ending) everything comes together well, even if it's predictable at points.

My #Physical copy of #GhostofYotei arrived today, wanted to get it since it launched, but I was grabbing other games with all the bad decisions #Sony #Playstation has been making lately... Still figured I should buy the physical game while it was on sale, before 2028

Got my #physical copy of #StarWars #ZeroCompany... Figured I had to support this game, since I can't say I was expecting a #Turn-Based Star Wars game to come out but it sounded amazing

Just got home from the #MyChemicalRomance concert in #Minneapolis I've always wanted to see them live, and it was a trip. The full on stage production and story were insane...Something you have to actually see in order to actually understand

(2/2) As much as it might sound like a joke at first glace. It actually kind of adds up (from a certain perspective)...Kidd was the last person left closest to Elbaph, AND it could lead to a payoff for "Punk 07" on his railgun with Lilith being on Elbaph.

My haul of Funko signatures from today at #Collect-A-Con #Minneapolis It was great being able to meet @ericvale.bsky.social @luci-loves-mic.bsky.social #EricaSchroeder #ChristopherJudge #MarkWhitten Luci Christian said that she liked my hair, I'll always remember that #Nami likes my hair 🤘

It gives me a good laugh when a #MAGA #Republican is trying to argue for Socialist policies (in relation to #Playstation stopping physical disks, apparently the #FCC needs to stop it!) but when I point out that it is socialism (which I agree with). I get told that I'm dumb and I support Monopolies.

Platinum #245, #LikeaDragon #InfiniteWealth While it took me longer for the plat than I originally expected (it ended up going into my backlog when I got towards the end)...I still enjoyed the story and all the side content, even though I think #LikeaDragon #Yakuza had the slightly better story.

Platinum #244, #StarWarsOutlaws The last 5 trophies were a struggle due to glitches. Glad I finished it.

000 0

Brandon Boricua @geekaffinity.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Gotta love how glitchy and broken #StarWarsOutlaws is...trying to do the "It wasn't me trophy" and after spending so much time keeping my wanted level from disappearing before I could get to an Imperial Officer, just to have the officer missing. Another broken #Ubisoft game, if I had a nickel...

Last time I hoped for a #Funko series to be released, it was for #Dandadan and that eventually ended up becoming real...Now I'm hoping for a series based on #Gachiakuta. When you have characters that look like this, I would throw money at a whole set.

My #Physical copy of #HiFiRush came today! Kinda funny that this was the first #Microsoft published game that was announced for #PS5 that I wanted. But by the time I got my hands on it, Microsoft isn't the publisher anymore 😂

#Platinum #Trophy #243 #Digimon #TimeStranger A fun turn-based RPG that improves on all the mechanics of the predecessor while improving on the bland-samey environments. Really makes a difference having distinct environments when you return to past areas.

Got my #physical copies of #ResidentEvil #Requiem and #Pragmata today! #Capcom really is the shining example for #AAA game development, I can't remember the last time I bought 2 games from the same developer at the same time.

My haul of signed #Funkos from #AnimeDetour2026 It's unfortunate that @abbytrott.bsky.social had a family emergency and wasn't at the convention, although I understand...I hope that it's nothing too serious and that everything is alright. Hopefully I'll get to meet her at some point in the future

Ways you can trick the AI making the game too easy

000 0

Brandon Boricua @geekaffinity.bsky.social · 14/02/2026

Platinum #242 #AQuietPlace #TheRoadAhead You can tell that the developers intended for the game to be like #AlienIsolation. Unfortunately the monster AI is nowhere near as good, with it constantly getting stuck. The "asthma" mechanic is a nice idea, but it's just not fun to manage.

Some people might think it's weird, but there are days when I enjoy looking at all my signed #Funkos Feeling like a dragon that hoards gold is an added bonus that makes me laugh when I look at them 🤣

Platinum #241, #TheElderScrolls #Oblivion #Remastered A solid #Bethesda RPG that I was looking forward to revisiting, since I haven't played it since it launched on #Xbox360. When I played it about 19 years ago I was still developing my #RPG legs and got confused with the obtuse directions 🤣

I'm all for praising #ClairObscur #Expedition33 for being an amazing game...But when people make comments like this, their literal stupidity is on display for the whole world. If they knew anything about the development of the game, they would know how factually incorrect this statement is 🤦‍♂️

Brandon Boricua @geekaffinity.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

It's amazing when #DHL is supposed to deliver a package, but whoever was the delivery driver felt the need to apparently toss multiple packages outside my front door and damaged a #Funko that came from the company. Funko always packages their items in cardboard protectors, and it's still ruined.

While I typically fall in the camp of saying, "Awards don't matter", especially when I bought 3 of the 6 #GoTY nominations at launch this year...It should be obvious which of the nominations I think should win #ClairObscur #Expedition33 (my opinion is my own)

Day 3 (last day) of #TwinCitiesCon I was able to get almost every one of my #Funkos signed by #Maxmittelman, @sarahwiedenheft.com, @ryancoltlevy.bsky.social, and @reaganmurdockvo.bsky.social. They were all super nice and fun to talk about about their various roles. So glad I got to meet them!

Day 2 of #TwinCitiesCon This was my most successful single-day at a convention. I managed to get 7 out of the 8 #Funkos I brought with me today signed...Which only leaves 5 more to get signed on the last day

I got to meet @kylephillipsfun.com today at #TwinCitiesCon and got my #OnePiece Marco #Funko signed (I was in the #Okarun from #DanDaDan cosplay)...Such a great experience, it's really cool that he made a twin cities playlist and asked his fans to add 1 song before they left his booth!

My haul from the first night of #TwinCitiesCon... I didn't bring everything that I wanted to get signed, since my plans nearly fell apart, but I got everything I brought with me signed #RobbieDaymond #RosarioDawson #AhmedBest #LuciChristian #IanSinclair

Ready to wear my #Dandadan #Okarun #TurboGranny costume for the first time... #Halloweenis the trial period before #TwinCitiesCon and if you are wondering where the "accurate" hair is, it's a work in progress. Unfortunately today was my payday, and I didn't have enough time after work for a haircut

When your #cat makes it difficult to make your bed...Moments like this make me realize that giving him the name #Dante was the right choice, for the #DevilMayCry / #DMC reference, because my cat gives off total smartass vibes 😂
