Dragon, adoptable! Pastel purple and blue gradients with light lavender and dark purple accents, adorned with gold jewellery, and with gem-like pink and gold flecked horns.

When the light shines through their wings, a cosmos pattern emerges.

A sleeping chameleon, with aforementioned wierd lil feet, who I have the pleasure of serving dinner every day! This majestic specimen is called Montague, who is Veiled Yemen with a disdain for people and passion for UVB and grasshoppers - which is fair enough, my dude.

Thought it might be fun to doodle a koi noodle in a pond! 🐉🐉🐉 His name is Kohaku, and it comes from one of the most prized colourations of koi carp.

A koi noodle dragon sitting pretty in a pond, alongside some super orange koi fish and some lily pads! I added some monstera cheese plants too, because why not~ His name is Kohaku, literally taken from the 'king of koi' colouration highly prized by collectors.

Boss Levels: Ruins of the Juniper Temple 🌲🌲🌲 This was a fun piece to make - tried a few new ideas with this one, and added some mini-bosses to find! :D

Ruins of the Juniper Temple - Boss Levels, a faux platformer game level made as an art print. The artwork has been painted digitally, and features a giant floating temple in the shape of a dragon. It has a tiled clay shell, and the interior is visible through cracks and damage to the structure, revealing a myriad of pathways and a meandering labyrinth into the unknown.

Along the way, you could find mini bosses - these are: The Primordial Heron, the King of Cobras, the Frog Lord, and the Tricky Kitsune. Some small cratures you could encounter are: a sea of SkyFlying Koifish, a few hidden critters in the greenery, some creepy crawlies, the riddle ravens, bat swarms, the three lunar moth sisters, and a small nod to Secret of Mana with the Rabites haha

Oh no, I love Gecqua too much?! aaaaaa (had to doodle it, but Akki-style @..@ )

The new starter pokemon Gecqua which I have modified and coloured to resemble my gecko-dragon character, Akki. :D It's drawn in three poses - tail sass on all fours, excited tail whomp with a butterfly, and a derpy standing pose similar to the original pokemon illustration.

Reference Sheet of an earth toned noodle drake named Hyacinth. She is the colour of muted winter underbrush, with dusky purples and pastel browns. In this sheet, she wears a flowing rope and scarf style "harness" with tassles, trimmed with golden tones.

A portrait of Selwyn, a sea themed lady dragon, wearing bright gold jewelry with turquise gems. She is a soft blue-white, with a gradient mane from dark blue, teal, green, and a muted terracotta at the ends - it is tied in some braids.

A sea dragon of a more classical 'sea serpent' look, though this little frilly fella is only about forearm length in my mind. Their species would live by the ocean, catching little bright fish in the shallows. This one is a muted blue and has a pale underbelly, with a bright coral throat and barbed tail tip. He perches on some skeletal looking bleached white branches.

A commissioned work featuring the character (and owner) named Ultimus. They are a platinum dragon with some extraordinary magic abilities, and can be seen hovering above a far off planet in an unknown solar system in this scene. They wear striking blue and gold regalia, their bright scales contrast with the black of space behind.

Hi there! My name is Akki, I am a freelance fantasy illustrator now based in the UK, and sometimes I doodle stuff other than dragons - but I haven't included any today! :D #PortfolioDay

Artwork, titled: Little Firestarters. It features several small red, orange, and yellow fire breathing dragons, perched on lanterns in the fading light of the day. The setting is a glmpse of a village, and the viewpoint is from the perspective of a tiny dragon looking down. The wings of each dragon are illuminated from the their firelight as they hang precariously from delicate round paper lanterns.

Artwork, titled: Woodland Debate. Two larger than life dragons, one blue and one red, comfortable discuss dragony things while nestled in the embrace of a large tree's roots. The scene is idyllic, with tiny floral details and insects surrounding the two creatures, illuminated by dappled sunlight. This scene (vaguely) references Raphael's School of Athens, showing these 'monstrous' entities politely sharing discourse on human philosphy in such a wild setting.

Artwork, titled: Boss Levels - Platformer Dragon. This was made a number of years ago for a guro themed publication called Gummy Guts, run by the artist AyCee.

The work features a noodle shaped dragon, surrounded by grassy platforms in a surrealist style. The intention was to show a "game level" in an old SNES game, where the player must traverse the entire inside of the dragon and collect it's heart pieces. In this scenario, you would save the princess of the floating castle shown in the background, and make the shattered beast whole again once you defeat his rage-form in the boss battle.

Artwork, titled: Tiny Foragers. This was my submission for the Tiny Dragon portfolio contest, though this did not get selected.

This piece features two small green and brown gecko-like dragons, forgaing in autumnal mountain underbrush for ladybirds (little red insects with black spots). The setting is leafy evergreen plants, with lichen and mushrooms on the forest floor, punctuated with small brushy saplings/shrubs in oranges and rust shades.

Inititally this piece was a different size format, but I have edited it for printing at A3 size.

A reference of a fictional character I have named Fishcake, based on the shiny form of the wels catfish Pokemon Dondozo. He is large, capable fella with whiskers for days - and he probably listens to jazz, and cooks a fine gumbo. :D

A reference of three pokemon inspired fictional characters, based on Relicanth, Magikarp, and Wishiwashi. They basically leggy fish anthro characters!

A reference sheet of three Pokemon fish characters called Tatsugiri. There are three froms of Tatsugiri - Curly (orange), Stretchy (yellow), and Droopy (red). I have made an effort to try and capture these personalities - but with LEGS. :D

A reference of a fictional catfish character I have called Money, based on the Pokemon Whiscash. Money wears a plastic six ring pack on his arm, and hoop earrings. He is very much a goofy but smart stereotype personified - he may appear gormless but he strikes a mean deal on the docks and everyone worth their salt knows it!

This fella is from a dream I had a bit ago, one of a few small sea-dwelling drakes - they were all different colours, fishing in the shallows, and they would retreat to these skeletal bleached trees to perch in. :D
