I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

This #Gundam was so fun to build! I love the look of it and all the solar panels. I think I’m getting a bit better. This is the third #Gunpla I have built now. #RX78F00E #GundamNextUniversalCentury #SolarPunkGundam

I always got excited when I found a new toy to summon. It was a great game!

Wow! I haven’t played this. Hoping a Nintendo Switch 2 edition drops sometime soon. I have heard lots about the duology though.

I would love if they let us play this on modern consoles! I played it so much on my PC back in the day!

The explanation why FF VII Revelation is #PhysicalFraud is complete and utter BS. First, people would be ok with slight compromises. Second, we sincerely doubt that it would exceed 200 GB of size, especially given PlayStation's powerful compression. Third, use a third disc, if.

It sucks! Also the case for the other Jrpg announcement too. Europe gets shafted with GKC.

010

Tai @gc-161.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I guess the #Sony strategy for the console market is to just leave it? They desperately need new leadership at this point.

010

Tai @gc-161.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Welp. European release is Game-Key card. I guess I spoke too soon. 😒🫩

This looks amazing. Also not a GKC. Thank you Marvelous!

Ohh. Is that the warhammer one? I’m gonna get that in the SW2 when it comes out!

Super scummy #SquareEnix. Using a Game Key-Disc on the last game of the trilogy. Jfc. Why even bother anymore. What a way to kill the hype. Urghhhhhh.

Wait, why are they doing a Lego PlayStation? It seems to be a physical object. That doesn't align with their current approach. Should be digital legos only.

Was so heartening to see the #Sony #StateOfPlay spammed with #NoDiscNoBuy. I know they won’t care, but eff them.

Tai @gc-161.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Square has been horrific. I can’t believe how much they have been cheaping out. I would have gotten pretty much all their released games on the switch if they were on cart. Such a shame.

020

Tai @gc-161.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

It’s such a bad look for them. At least to me it is.

I don’t care if Grand Theft Auto 6 becomes the greatest video game ever since Breath of the Wild. That game shouldn’t be made at the expense of abusing employees, massive layoffs, union busting, predatory monetization practices, and ceasing the end of physical media. It’s just not worth it.

Sony emailing everyone about PlayStation terms of use during a backlash over the end of discs and a lack of digital ownership is certainly a choice

I’m joining #PSBlackout because I’m tired of companies endlessly finding ways to fleece us. Will it make a difference? Maybe not. But enough is enough. And sending that obnoxious wall of T&Cs while people are already furious about physical games? Tone-deaf. Consider this my middle finger.

I am so bitterly disappointed about not being able to get a set of the promo #FFTCG and #Fanfest. People out here trying to sell them for £100-£300 per card. Insane. I have a spare #Alisaie card if anyone wants to trade. #FFXIV #FinalFantasyXIV

Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells is sensational, as is the Apple TV series based on the book. I cant recommend them enough. The Southern Reach Quadrilogy by Jeff Vandermeer is also amazing. And his other books like Hummingbird Salamander. Both sci-fi if that’s your jam. Happy Birthday!

This whole end of physical media thing is really affecting me. It’s not just having the disc - it everything around shopping, hunting for things, spending time with buddies. None of it matters to business but it makes me question why I bothered getting into the gaming space at all. Really sad.

Can I have a physical copy of this game? No. So the game will be cheaper because there's no disc to produce? Again, no. I have to store all my games on my console. Memory chips are cheap these days, right? Guess what?
