I think a keymap toggle in settings would be useful (Host / Spectrum) - I grew up with the Speccy so I'm used to symbol shift + P for ", shift + 0 for backspace etc. But yeah, no backspace or arrow keys (I've got a wired Apple Aluminium keyboard) 2/2

Can't seem to get my cursor keys to work (have selected Spectrum Cursor from the input menu). This is on +3 mode, so I'm stuck on the menu. Also delete / backspace don't work. Other keys work and are mapped to the host keyboard (as per the docs). 1/2

Yeah, laptops are (used to be?) a bit trickier than desktops. I remember using my desktop to download packages on to a USB stick to install on my laptop to get wifi working. Not fun. Linux usually just works on most modern-ish desktops nowadays.

Linux is really good for giving older PCs a second life. There's just less BS going on in the background for one thing. I've not used Windows as my main OS for over 20 years now. Anything I need to do on Windows I'll try as hard as I can to hack around with Wine or a VM if I really have to.
