My plan was to finally finish the pair of socks I currently have on the needles. Kira wedged herself under my knitting pillow and said it's time to cuddle the puppy instead. Kira wins. #DogsOfBlueSky #ItalianGreyhound

Trying to decide. How tall should I make my new socks? Yarn: Paton's Kroy in Woodsie. Plain 6x2 vanilla ridges. I'll finish in a 1x1 ribbing, probably. Knitted 2@aT toe-up magic loop. #Knitting #SockKnitting #KnitSky #DogsOfBlueSky #ItalianGreyhound 🧶

Gusset increases almost done. Then, on to the heels. Yay. (No, really, I actually like that part.) Yarn: Paton's Kroy "Woodsie." Love the way the colors are coming out. No specific pattern, but using a "vanilla" 6x2 ribbing. #SockKnitting #KnitSky #Knitting

Happy 100th birthday to my mom in heaven. She was the best mom ever. I miss her every day. She was also a lifelong Democrat, and worked at the polls every election day. I have childhood memories of sitting with her, coloring in my coloring books, while she helped others vote. Happy birthday, Mommy.

I hate swatching. Usually I fake it. This time I was a good little knitter. Gauge was perfect, and the foot fit fine. The length to heel was spot on. I got a few inches of leg done, and they're too tight to go over my heel.🧶🐸😂 Out we go to try again. #Knitsky #SockKnitting #knit
