I have dropped the ball on my last four watched recently but made up for it with 2 amazing movies - The Night of the Hunter and The Wicker Man. NOTH really surpassed all expectations. I like a good romcom but both on this list are middling #last4watched #letterboxdfriday #filmsky

Make the list! ‘Dog Soldiers’ as well - think I went to the cinema to see that. Was good fun if I remember correctly

Just watched this last night - came on late on BBC One. Finished at 2am! One of my all-time favourites, might be the Scottishness of it. Definitely know a few of these islands that may not be too far off Summerisle!

Some classics and some newer movies this week. The highlight was surprisingly The Lighthouse which, despite seeing Eggers’ other movies, I didn’t realise would be right up my alley. Another good week! Struggling to find the time to make 4 a week though… #letterboxdfriday #last4watched #filmsky

Some of their best is on there - ‘I can tell we’re going to be friends’ is too good

Have you watched The Chair Co? Feel like that was almost similar to that except the show leaned into that surrealism. All Robinson shows/movies are hampered by him not using a zip line though!

So i came back from Paris on Sunday, and what a trip it was - went to Shakespeare and Co and a Seine boat trip inspired by Before Sunset, had drinks in the same cafe as James Baldwin and Hemingway, saw Weird Nightmare at a local venue and ate like a king in Montmartre. Living the life

I enjoyed it! I’m a big fan of Robinson’s and I liked that the movie sided more on the realistic side of things rather than completely surreal if you know what I mean? Some great jokes as well, loved the scenario where he saved them from the apocalypse!

Used to listen to FMF soundtrack regularly - Let Her Dance has so much energy and always makes me happy. My daughter has just watched so I have a chance to relive it!

The Conversation is a masterpiece! Loved the focus on the business of being in Hackman’s line of work and where it all led to. So good.

Managed 3 movies this week. 1. I feel like DWP2 was muddled and could have been more 2. Felt sick through pretty much the whole runtime of Nobody Knows 3. SM:BND Holland’s best SM movie but I think #AI was used in the crowd sequences - not good. #last4watched #letterboxdfriday

Saw this last night. Thought it was enjoyable enough, but that I’m still being punished for not watching all #Marvel stuff. I am 90% certain that #AI was used for some crowd sequences also - any thoughts on this? Some crowd stuff looked like a Facebook ad… #filmsky

Posted about most of these movies on my TL over the last week, but it was a really good week for movies for me. Plenty of drama, horror and psychological thrillers to chew on #last4watched #letterboxdfriday

Same, I adored it! It looks amazing, and it’s great to watch two interesting characters do this dance. It ends so perfectly too. I hadn’t seen any of the trilogy until recently, but it’ll be rewatched in the near future

I need to shift 50 last tickets for my Edinburgh Fringe show to almost break even. I’m a Scottish folksinger, performing self-penned, trad ballads and translations in the Scots language. I’ve got a show on Fri 21 and Sun 23. Reposts would go a long way. Thx ❤️ 🎟️ Tickets → bit.ly/fringeif

It was an average last 4 watched until Wednesday when I finally caught the Odyssey at the IMax. Genuinely thought I was going to have a panic attack at 3 points in the movie, but thought it was a very good movie indeed. #letterboxdfriday #last4watched

Watched the first two films on a plane - not a great flyer so picked something long and something comforting. The other 2 were watched with the kids. They loved both, but I didn’t think either are classics. What did they do to Woody?! #last4watched #letterboxedfriday
