As a 'thing' they were after my time as a youth. I painted a set of metal miniatures that Grenadier made what now, 40+ years ago so that was pretty much my only exposure to them. I remember He-Man, She-Ra, Teela, Man-at-Arms, Evil-Lyn and Skeletor but that's about it. Oh, and Battle-Cat (sp?) too.

Well that sounds somewhat normal for your neck of the woods. For my neck of the woods it is sunny, warm (82F/28C) but the lows at night are dropping into the 40s F/6C. Daytime needs to be a bit cooler for the sake of my sinuses.

If you can find a copy of the Dune Encyclopedia (difficult at a reasonable price) it has some entries on religion and the Orange Catholic Bible. Frank signed off on that work but I don't think it is currently part of the canon since the son took over. But it still might have some useful info.

I will show my age by saying when I was a kid, nothing Christmas related happened until the day after Thanksgiving, i.e. Black Friday. Anything prior was at best rushing the season, at worst downright weird.
