We have basically arrived at Soviet style central planning. Previously, farm products sold to China. Now: US Importers pay tariffs, pass costs off to the people. Gvmt uses tariff $ to subsidize the farmers whose markets they destroyed. Courts rule tariffs unconstitutional, repayment to US importers.
