Leave It to Abigail! (4-10) is a reminder that voice matters, even when you’re not the one in power. Through letters & grit, Abigail Adams shaped history behind the scenes. This is a beautiful #kidlit entry point to speaking up, being heard, & using influence. Stories like this help build agency.📚👍🍎

We sent a tooth to the Tooth Fairy without asking why. We do the same with our data every day. Not about saying no. About asking better questions: Why. How. Where. With whom. That’s how you raise kids who don’t just share— they understand. (Also: we still paid. And we’re flossing.) 🧵 🍎👩‍🔬

Text reads “Privacy and the Tooth Fairy.”Green background with small smiling tooth illustrations. Text reads: “We lost a first tooth in our household recently. In trying to figure out the current Tooth Fairy rate, we ended up somehow with a full term sheet with the Tooth Fairy.”Green background with tooth illustrations. Text reads: “As a lawyer, it was entertaining to ‘negotiate’ with the Tooth Fairy (fine, ChatGPT), but one question stood out: What does the Tooth Fairy do with the teeth and why does she need it?”Green background with tooth illustrations. Text reads: “We accept and pass on a paradigm where we sent a piece of ourselves off to a mysterious fairy without asking the why or how. As the US-EU Privacy Framework for cross-border data transfers depends upon FTC enforcement, this is likely the death knell for such transfers. Based on Schrems II and the moves by Trump (including firing folks from PCLOB), data transfer to the US under any mechanism might not be valid anymore.

Santa Claus & the Data Disaster SANTA CLAUS MYTH x THE LITTLE CYBER ENGINEER With the help of Mrs. Claus, Santa rethinks how he operates. We've been watching Wall-E a lot recently, so our #KidLitSundayScaries story for the theme #Wish is a little more in the theme of robots and AI. Are we near the singularity? #kidlit #horrorwriter #writingprompt #writingcommunity

A #kidlit #bookrec for those dancing through life or the museum. Dancing with Degas combines the musicality of beautifully written prose by Julie Merberg & Suzanne Bober with the gorgeous ballet-inspired art of Degas. We love all of the art with the masters #PB series, but this is our favorite.
Cover image of the book - Dancing with Degas by Julie Merberg and Suzanne Bober. The background is images of dancers legs en pointe in toe shoes and soft ballet shoes in various poses. In cursive writing at the top is text stating: “For those dancing through life or the museum”. At the bottom is text stating”privacy x GarWu”. There is also a black shadow image of a dancer doing an arabesque and arms in open third position.

Join Charlie the Knight as she helps her small village of Little Import find and trap monsters in this book by @hbatsel. We had such a blast trying to interpret the clever rhymes to try to spot the monsters. #kidlit #bookrecs

Get in touch with your emotions with the Color Monster series by Anna Llenas. While we love the whole series, we'd particularly recommend Dr. Color Monster for including emotional toolkits to help manage those big feelings. Great for any age by particularly (3-6). #kidlit #bookrecs 📚👍 📚💙 🍎

Had a lovely evening making pizza with the family! Delfina pizza kits for the win. A 2013 Three Words from Handwritten Wines doesn’t hurt. Not featured: a homemade kale (from our garden) Caesar salad. A gorgeous Sunday for sure. Have a great night! #bakingsky #pizza #wine #foodie #cookingsky
