The next month will be spent looking at the tv with the reflection of the Xmas tree in it 🤣

Timeline is much more enjoyable after I got rid of loads of stupid accounts that were in those LFC starter packs, still a work in progress, but a lot better

Quite happy that Slot doesn't seem as obsessed with making changes as some of our fans and content creators

I've finally, for now at least, worked out a way to get the best from all the twitter like platforms, I post pretty much exclusively on here, because it feels more friendly, I occasionally pop into Threads and enjoy that timeline, but use X for real time stuff and the accounts that don't post here

Let's see if anyone in the media will be able to find out what exactly Coote has been sacked for, lots of allegations, many quite serious, some that put into question the integrity of the PGMOL itself, but I won't hold my breath

Not been a bad weekend of football considering we got postponed, quite like the fact teams are dropping points, like a proper title chase, unlike the madness of recent years

Lovely meal in Elif on Lark Lane with Mel and then a couple of pints in what was my favourite pub in the Lane back in the late 80's

Brisk walk for a coffee in Crosby and can confirm that Storm Darragh hasn't deterred the local pensioners from their Saturday morning shop 🤣

As someone who uses Bluesky, Threads and Twitter for different things I really appreciate content creators who post across all platforms 👏👏

In fairness to Mo he's playing a blinder in these non contract negotiations, I'm guessing the stats men are running every model possible to try and justify their position 🤣

I really like Slot's interviews, sometimes I find coaches comments a bit embarrassing, especially after games, but this fella always hits the right note

170

Reality check for those who think if we play like that again we won't be challenging in May, maybe that's true, but I'll guarantee we will, that's what football is about, look at City, Arsenal and so many others over the years, you can't win every game, that's why 100 pts has only been done once

Last visit to Goodison on Saturday to see the reds, back in the day you'd go quite often if like me you had blue mates, phone call on Friday night, pay on the gate the next day, I was there for both league titles and their big European night against Bayern, dozens of derbies as well

170

I'll never understand the mentality of some on social media, everything is the best ever or the worst ever, they seem to lack any sort of rational thought process and balance, weird behaviour

060

After the last few years when City rarely dropped any points, some fans have forgotten what a 'normal' title challenge feels like, clubs draw and lose games, especially tough away ones, let's hope this time it's like that

I'd have taken 4 pts from Newcastle and Everton away, guess we'll just have to beat them on Saturday now

All to play for in the 2nd half, top teams find solutions, let's see if Arne and the lads can turn things around

000

Was always going to be tough off the back of Madrid and City, but that right side just isn't working, Szoboszlai and Diaz needed sooner rather than later

Paying the price now for following all those starter packs, lots of stuff and people I wouldn't usually follow on social media, thankfully I've another account that is purely what I want to follow, the way it always worked best on twitter

230

I'd love all three lads to sign new deals, but I'd say it should be van Dijk, Salah and Trent in that order, simply because while Trent is massively important he's at the point in his career where his head might get turned by other big clubs, I genuinely think the other two are desperate to stay

000

It seems all social media attracts a slightly strange element that becomes weirdly possessive of their chosen platform, we've arrived at that point on here now, people criticising others for pointing out the many obvious areas that need improvement and suggesting they go back to X 🤣

Tough trip to Newcastle tonight, let's hope we get another 3 pts, but if we don't it's important to keep some perspective and realise we can't win every game

Got an Uber from Crosby to Anfield last night at 4.30 for £10.91 actually felt sorry for the driver, so he got a better than usual tip

010

I wouldn't judge Arsenal by their online fans, I've always found the ones I've met over the years to be among the better ones

041

Have to say as much as I love Jürgen the new fella is brilliant with the media, treats them with the respect they deserve 🤣

100

The amount of shit stirring on here from lesser known news sources and grifters about the three lads contracts is getting embarrassing now, we'll find out when the club announces it, for now there's trophies to be won

So it turns out they spent £715 million on sending a grand total of FOUR volunteers to Rwanda. For comparison, this is more than you could expect to spend on building an entire brand new hospital in the UK

The Paul Joyce article on Slot and the changes he's made is very interesting, I won't link here as I don't buy or promote the Times, but screenshots are available if you look, well worth it

GarstonRed @garstonred.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Forget which side of the political divide you sit and read this article about Trump and half of America, sadly it could have been written about this country as well, it's not about class, left or right, it's about what should be right and wrong

000

Can't believe we've got fans on social media who are justifying the van Dijk and Salah contract situation based on weird statistics that are trying to say both will implode in the next 2 years, despite all the current evidence

GarstonRed @garstonred.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

It's only when you get carried away that you get an atmosphere inside and outside Anfield like yesterday's, it's good to get carried away, it doesn't mean you aren't realistic about what's ahead, just enjoy every minute, good and bad

GarstonRed @garstonred.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Another fantastic day at Anfield, they really don't get much better

0111

Arguably the toughest game of the season at Anfield tomorrow, yes I know Everton and Utd are bigger rivals, but recently this tends to be more important, this year especially, injuries happen, let's just get right into them from the off

141

For comparison and fairness here's the same sample on here

000

I've just scrolled my for you feed on twitter and here are the first things I've seen, the rest is pretty similar, to be fair apart from some being old, which is the point of an algorithm driven feed they are all interesting, maybe I'm doing it right/wrong 🤣

100

BladeoftheSun @bladeofthes.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

How hard is it to implement a successful algorithm to a discovery like feed on a social media app, when it's done properly it enhances the experience, but it seems most likely here are awful, it's the same with ads, show me things I'm interested in

I believe Kemi Badenoch is guilty of computer hacking. Perhaps the Media would like to be outraged at her being Leader of the Opposition? But of course they won't be when it is their team.

FIFA report: Saudi 2034 World Cup bid has “medium” human rights risk

Saudi 2034 gets "highest ever score in bidding history" in Fifa's evaluation report. Must be good given the number who will die getting it ready, the fact a major host city remains *unbuilt* and ongoing uncertainty about its timing. If you think they're laughing at you, it probably because they are.

The answer to that last post is pretty obvious, I was just showing why this place lacks certain content $$

100

For context, using 1d as the parameter, my favourite very popular LFC content creator posted 10 times on Bluesky, I stopped counting at 100 on twitter. Is that a lazy social media team or something else, I don't know, even I can post on multiple platforms, it isn't hard
