Maybe I'm not asexual. Maybe I'm just 6 foot and only attracted to girls that are taller than me.

I asked Sagiko to strike a "repost-requesting pose," and she responded with a 90s-style look! How old are you? Seriously, how old are you!?

Want to write. Want to practice Japanese. Want to work out. Want to practice piano. In a period of high motivation and I might be spreading myself too thin. Not enough hours in the day. If only I didn't have a job...

AccountingNightmare's Devil May Cry 3 Let's Play helped me understand how to enjoy that game and now character action is one of my favorite genres. Just finished that LP tonight, 15 years after I started it, and it's still excellent.

Fujimoto is so good at panels I can't believe this is unintentional, but at the same time, I have no idea what the intention is. It's so silly for such a heavy moment. It's so funny

Finished Paper Towns tonight. I'd been wanting to read a John Green book for a long time and found this one cheap in a secondhand store. (Side note: It had notes in the margins and a little bookmark with a pencil drawn Big Dipper left inside! Love it.)

Been trying to get a friend into fighting games for years and finally convinced him to try 2XKO because of duos. I really underestimated the power of duos as an onboarding method. Gonna explain some ways it's awesome in this thread.

Rewatched the end of Hunter X Hunter's Chimera Ant arc and cried my eyes raw again. Meruem going blind with Komugi and repeatedly asking if she's there, if she'll hold his hand, while they play their games together. It's so beautiful and heartbreaking.

My big cat used to sleep by my feet under the blanket and it was so cute but lately he prefers to curl up against my torso/the side of my back and that's also so cute. My cold feet miss him though.

An old friend came back into my life as his dad died. He was a shut-in alcoholic for 20 years. It's destroyed his mental health. He's panicky and paranoid and unable to help himself. It's heartbreaking and frustrating. Tomorrow we take him to a mental hospital. I hope they can help him.

In Silksong when you play music, everyone sings with you. Wavering off key, discordant with the accompaniment, but they sing about their fears and regrets and wants and hopes. It's dirty and beautiful and I love it.

Reading Coin Locker Babies. I picked it up off a list of Japanese classics so I don't really know what to expect. But it started so dark I keep expecting the worst. Is one of them going to die in this abandoned coal mine? Compelling though. I'm enjoying the child's perspective in the writing style
