The world will be a better place when he shuffles off this mortal coil

The mitigation seems to be his contrition but at the time I thought they were all quite bullish. He’s been very lucky

But Musk is abhorrent. I know you can’t avoid all the narcissistic tech bros but he’s a different level. I do miss it sometimes especially when others in my group chat are sending stuff

I’m guessing the same exchange rate that Apple seem to use

Yes, I should have read it first!

I cant see Palace being worth £900 mill. I reckon £6 - 650 at a push

Looks like City’s defence is along the lines of “you can’t handle the truth”

Saka was about potential, he’s very good but not quite hit the heights expected

000

Gareth Davies @garethdaviesnutrition.com · 30/09/2026

It would also give their fans some comfort. I do feel for them a bit, it’s always the fans who suffer in the end

110

Gareth Davies @garethdaviesnutrition.com · 30/09/2026

Yes. That’s where I don’t understand City’s approach. I think they’d be better off braking the punishment on the chin and setting aside a fund for “proactive compensation” not sure quite how it would work but they’d be seen to be doing something positive rather than the belligerent approach so far

Relegation / promotions for the given season Subsequent seasons, City would expect to walk each league, particularly the lower ones even with losing players. So a question of competitiveness Not sure a full stadium for one game really cuts it

110

Gareth Davies @garethdaviesnutrition.com · 30/09/2026

Whilst everyone seems to be saying that City should be relegated, you have to factor the impact on whatever league they end up in. I don’t think it’s as easy as just demoting them. But yes, they should be demoted

Another really good read Matt. I don’t know what to make of Parish sometimes

I liked Sara Cox, the experiment with Jo Whiley who I adore was an absolute catastrophe. They both sounded so uncomfortable. I don’t listen to drive time that often anymore but Gary Davies was good during the summer

Gareth Davies @garethdaviesnutrition.com · 28/09/2026

I don’t have a problem with the principle. Lots of people have presented across both mediums. It simply depends who it is. Not a fan of Angela Scanlon though, so I won’t be listening.

I cannot abide her, doesn't even remotely try to hide her bias.

It’s not a bad track but for me there’s a lot stronger tracks than that

I remember rushing out to by that. Not a duff track on it. Well, maybe Heart of Glass………..

All joking apart, considering Everton had to pay Burnley £35 mil. I can see a busy time for lawyers with claims running into the billions

Can’t see Guehi wanting to play in the Championship

Another really good piece Matt. My only issue is Parish shoehorning Brexit into the interview. Those players could be here irrespective of Brexit. Oh, and players can’t give 4000% 😃

My daughter 22, has a Fiat 500. Was her mums and still is when there's a bill 😀 Cheap enough to run and "cool" enough to drive around in. 65 plate, touch wood haven't had any issues at all
