This was a great film about pressure, hubris and psychotic levels of ambition. 4/5 PS: Spoiler I love that Rob got his own Pazuzu type entity to follow his psyche around.

Other than a few beats here and there, this film is played very seriously. Even the monster isn’t a monster, but a guy dressing up to run people out of his area of the jungle. I would have enjoyed this much more if it was just a little bit silly. 2.5/5

One of the more unique Giallos I’ve seen. It’s a very female centered tale about a large group of sex workers who band together to catch a local serial killer. They have unique personalities, are strong and some are very educated. This isn’t common during this era of Italian thrillers. 3.5/5

In this police procedural Giallo, you get the crime and who’s responsible during the opening credits. The mystery of this film is why. Around 75% of this film’s runtime is devoted to interrogations and interviews. If you can get behind the drama of a structure like this, I recommend it. 3.5/5

My local Comic shop does a half off deal for Batman day, so I picked up some Batman stuff from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

Fans of Projekt's 90s Dream Pop act Love Spirals Downwards can check out the new ep from vocalist Suzanne Perry. It's Pay What You Can at Bandcamp. @frankieteardrop.bsky.social writes, "Perry’s voice still sounds as shimmering and sublime as ever." projektrecords.bandcamp.com/album/therel...

Typically, Polish curse films are really out there when it comes to concepts and execution. This one felt rather safe. Almost like a Polish Stir Of Echoes. Not bad and you can watch it with your mom. 3/5
