Spectrum PSU is just a couple of diodes, caps and a transformer. If you can solder this one is straightforward.

Unit is RF only which is no good for modern TV. Will convert this to composite or RGB if possible.

Both controllers are missing the top. Should be easy enough to find something suitable.

🎃Scarebrush 🎃Frightwood 🎃 @gamewhisperer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Controller cable has exposed wires. Could be a pull, or may need trimming back and reseating.

Looks that way. Good for a seller but end of an era for buyer bargains.

An old school office/mobile reel to reel. Paid £2. It’s corroded worse than anything I’ve seen in person or on any faked “look what I found buried up me ass” YouTube videos. Will be able to try the tape elsewhere. Will be good as a prop. Will try but will be on the back burner. The end.

Pretty sure it was @sparksnzeros.bsky.social that showed one of these being repurposed as a gameboy cart display. At local antique store.

I saw this week one of the staff docking the offer on a Sony power supply because it had a replacement C7 cable and not original. All the while, they tolerate selling this junk. I’ll take my chances at a boot sale for 1/3 of the price.
