We broke our Quickshot II about every six months or so. Boxed it up, sent it back to Kempston with a handwritten note; a week later they would send back a brand new one, with a letter saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it.

I remember getting a cat one from my local Pets at Home at the start of the craze, got it up to 31 in Virtual Pet years but slept in one Saturday morning and found it had it's wings 😭 Also I had a Footix one just like this for the France '98 World Cup.
