Looking forward to trying a first person souls/Bioshock blend. There’s so many games right now, man

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I’ve been jazzed up about this game based off its previews. Looking forward to checking out your review after work

Going from a game like Dawnwalker which had the best narrative and plot threads I’ve experienced in a while to Control Resonant which simply has the best traversal and level design is blowing my mind a bit.

@remedygames.com how are you so damn good at making video games?!

As someone from the UK I can confirm many of us are disgusted with what is happening over there. I hope you can all stay safe

The best shorter indies I played on my switch 2 this year are - DenshAttack (for pure arcade fun) - Opus: Prism Peak (for a narrative adventure to get in your feels) - Mina the Hollower (for gameplay is king vibes) - Deltarune Chapter 5 (need I say more?)

I’m pretty sure the devs of Phantom Blade 0 said they had a difficulty setting that did this in their game, wonder if it’s connected…

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I love gaming and the community. The games themselves are honestly better than ever. Having said that, there is so much toxicity in this space and that saddens me. Look after yourselves and look after each other ❤️🎮

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Remedy’s level design is second to none. I just got the gravity switch ability in Resonant and holy fuck how on EARTH did they design this?!

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Is the dancer a resonant entity? I’ve not come across them yet but this looks awesome!

000

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

.. yeah Remedy cooked again.

000

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Now starting: Control Resonant Remedy are one of my favourite developers and I’m super excited

000

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Completion #24 Marvels Wolverine 🏆 Platinum achieved also. The game is much stronger in its latter stages than opening but honestly I had a pretty great time!

Wheres At Fates End?! That game looks sick as hell

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

The non-stop stream of highly rated games is seriously on a generational run. Have we ever eaten this good?

000

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Silent Hill Townfall - 81 OC Yotei DLC - 85 OC Ace Combat 8 - 87 OC Gears E Day - 88 OC Star Wars Galactic Racer - 88 OC I don’t think we’ve ever eaten this good.

Jacob Geller is no longer a part of MinnMax. He won't be on content moving forward and we won't be publicly airing this week's episode of The MinnMax Show. We're in shock and deeply hurt. Thank you for your patience during this sensitive time.

Excited for some E day, great work by The Coalition here. They deserve to be rewarded

This saddens me. Nobody should live in such uncertainty about their livelihoods

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Haven’t even got through most of the September games yet, but there’s a bunch of October games I’m really hyped for: - Gears E Day - Silver Pines - Valor Mortis - Castlevania - Final Fantasy Resonance - Phantom Blade 0 - The Wolf Among Us remastered What are you hyped for?

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

The voice actor for Lacra in The Blood of Dawnwalker is exceptional. I’m not familiar with them but I really hope they do more voices in the future

Completion #23 🏆 The Blood of Dawnwalker Wow… just wow.

010

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I’ve had a very productive Sunday! Finished editing and uploaded a review (Mortal Shell 2 go check it out!) > trimmed my beard > got my hair cut > went on a 12k run > now I get to settle down and play Dawnwalker for the rest of the day 😌

Gamer Guy J @gamerguyj.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

You can tell that Rebel Wolves are ex CDPR devs because I’ve not been this invested in side characters and narrative in an RPG since The Witcher 3.

I started Wolverine tonight and my initial thoughts are it’s beautiful but the combat seems a little basic. Looking forward to playing more though!

I was already honored to be a voice in their game, but now I’m DOUBLY grateful to have @doublefine.com’s continued support as they unabashedly celebrate our collab! (And please don’t worry. While my success & public joy seem to be upsetting to some, I feel like I’m getting to live my dream life!)

Completion #22 of 2026 🏆 Mortal Shell 2 This one surprised me as it is a significant upgrade on the 1st title. It’s now cemented itself as my second favourite soulslike behind Lies of P. Really good game but awful final boss 🤣
