Wanted to share an update. So I’ve been working really hard on Kraino and made lots of progress! I’ve been MIA recently because of a family member being diagnosed with cancer & having surgery. Still uncertain on the recovery. I will be around more now & replying to DMs soon!

I hope it's not just me, but there's a loooooong passage of time when developing your game where it just sucks and you hate it, it's incomplete, imbalanced, you don't feel like it's worth bothering with anymore. Then one day the whole thing flips and it's suddenly the most exciting thing to work on.

This was the old design I made for Raijin. I thought she lacked something, and thanks to @koutetuyarou.bsky.social her lightning elemental powers and mobility were emphasized and her design now looks more special and worthy of main character status, I think. #pixelart #gamedev
