At this moment of time, all the ships involved in the transport of alumina to russia are in fact managed by a shipping company based in Estonia. Given the attack in Estonia that was carried out by russia. Is this considered acceptable? #alumina22

A chemical tanker is enroute to Aughinish. It departed Buetzfleth, Stade, Germany. There is a Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) manufacturing plant close to the jetty it departed from. This is used in the extraction of alumina from bauxtie. Is Germany ok with this? #alumina22 /1

Not a shadow fleet vessel, or sanctioned, but Cpt Georgios S (IMO: 9262936) is currently on its way from Murmansk to Iskenderun, Turkey, making what appears from globalfishingwatch.org data, to be its first trip through the Irish Sea, at least since 2012. 👋

Wherever I expected DORRY wind up, it wasn't off Portugal. What a wild track.

The standard says a Class A set slows to one report every 3 minutes once she's set to anchored or moored, from every 2 to 10 seconds under way, so at anchor there's much less for a satellite to catch on a pass. Still twenty an hour though. I wouldn't put a full day on the rate.
