Tovarysch Kozak is complete.
Samsung-Hitachi group are the pioneers of both the compact fusion engine, and consequently mecha. The Advanced Mechanized Cavalry concept revolutionized the battlefield the way that tanks had two centuries before. The SHG-042 Cossack is the pinnacle of second generation mounts. A quick moving, moderately armored, and packing a simple weapons loadout consisting of a rotary autocannon, a single plasma blade, and a small holdout laser mounted in the head, make the Cossack the first choice for hard hitting terrestrial recon and light skirmisher units.

As the model gets fleshed out, so too does the lore. There is a reason this second generation mount remained in production for nearly a century and is maintained by most moderately sized military forces for a further two centuries.

I’m working on Furies, a kinky T4T lesbian romance with mechs. It is the earliest story I currently intend to write in my mecha focused Sci-fi setting. I am also modeling some of the mounts from the story. #queerwriters #LGBTQWriteAThon
The GDY-001a Clem, is a quadrupedal featherweight mech armed with a class 5 main gun packing both solid slugs, and grapeshot which is mounted in a dorsal turret as its sole armament. The turret has 360 degree traverse, taking advantage of the mount’s speed to put shots into enemy machines on the move. However the mechs light weight and compact form factor mean that repetitive fire can stress and damage the chassis if the mech is not properly braced, a maneuver that Clem pilots call the ‘play bow’, a reference to the nickname given to the machine—the Chihuahua of War.The humble Hoplite is one of the most bare bones, minimalist designs ever created. Though it was conceived as an engineering exercise into the feasibility of producing mecha by a company better known for AgTech, the Hoplite would ventually become one of the best selling mounts in the Near Earth Sphere thanks to its focused, minimalist design, rugged reliability, ease of maintenance, and above all its price. A new build Hoplite will set the buyer back ₩1.3 million, and used models, especially of the more lightly armed variants, can be had for as little as ₩500,000. The base model, the PCH-55-6 features an oblong, egg shaped body, the thin armor covers a sturdy internal frame, with thicker armor protecting the fusion engine, the lower part of the cockpit, and the canopy. The vernier system gives it a bit more terrestrial maneuverability, and some variants are equipped for space combat. One rotary, and one light particle cannon are the only concessions made to ‘advanced’ systems. The SHG-042 Cossack is a bantam weight terrestrial skirmisher with an incomplete lore file.

That ended up turning into a series of deaths in the family, followed by a sharp downturn in my physical health, and I spent some time in the hospital with sepsis. However, I have picked up, and am doing some world building and 3d modeling to flesh out the interbellum and crusade eras.

I’m kinda back. Life has been absolutely insane for the past year, and I had more important things to focus on than Social Media. So, quick update for those of you that like my work—I am still hacking at stuff, but I’ve been pretty well stalled since the spring when I lost the woman who raised me.

Right back on my WIP bullshit with a GDY-001a Clem by legacy arms company General Dynamics, better known to its pilots as The Chihuahua of War. The Clem represents the first steps into mecha production by the Imperium Iunctus Civitas, which had lagged behind the other Terran empires until that point

I finished up my lil egg of rage! The PCH-55-6 Hoplite was conceived as the cheapest, most bare bones sniper mech that Parsons City Heavy Machinery could build. The thin, oblong armor covers a sturdy internal frame, with thicker armor protecting the the most important areas.

41. Do you intentionally write in foreshadowing? Doesn’t everyone?
000
GallowsGal @gallowsgal.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
67. What do you hope readers take from your work? War is dirty, bloody, and sad. There are things worth fighting and dying for, but that doesn’t make it glorious and clean like a propaganda film. Sometimes we must dare greater force to break evil’s hold, to quote Elizabeth Moon.
000
GallowsGal @gallowsgal.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
5. What is your favorite type of scene to write? Mech combat. Esp space dogfights. There is something deeply satisfying in the interplay between each pilot’s style, and how they approach a given type of enemy machine. The first duel between Judith’s Crusader and Mila’s Hypatia is 🤌🤌🤌
010
GallowsGal @gallowsgal.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
14. What is your favorite part of your current WIP? From a pure writing standpoint? The kink scenes. From a world building perspective? The development of an almost neo-chivalric code of war that will stand for a century and a half until the first Jesuit Crusade. —and the mechs are sexy af.

47. Do you ever write erotic scenes? A picture is worth a thousand words or whatever…
“Impeccable.” The Major’s voice held a slight mocking edge that thrilled Kate in a way she didn’t know she could be thrilled, “Do you want to lick it, good girl?”

“Yes ma’am, please?” Katlynn couldn’t think for herself if she wanted to, and she knew with absolute certainty that she didn’t want to. All she wanted was to be in this moment, and to do what she was told.

“From the toe to the knee.” The order dripped like honey from Kettering’s mouth. Kate took a deep, shuddering breath, and ran her still dry tongue along the surface of the leather, starting at the toe box welt, and ending at the very edge of the high shaft. When she reached that zenith, a smooth hard hand looped fingers into her hair, pulling gently, pleasantly, until Katlyn was able to rise, and look Kettering in the face. The major’s lips were parted, and Katlynn was seized with a mad desire to kiss her, but before she could collect herself enough to do it, Kettering said something that completely undid her again, “You’ve done very well. Are you going to obey orders from now on?”

“Yes—yes—yes, ma’am.” Kate stammered. Her heat pounded, her ears rang, and her stomach was full of butterflies.

“That’s my good girl.”

In today’s episode of ‘What the fuck are you talking about?’ My insurance company is trying to duck out of paying for my hospitalization because apparently having a drug resistant staph infection is not serious enough to warrant being admitted. Moreover, they have denied my second stint…for sepsis.

Do. Not. Hassle. The. Hunchback.
Sister Jeanne is a hell of a machine, built from what was left of Cpt. Guthrie’s family Hunchback after her duel with Mama Bear. She packs a custom endo-steel frame, and a Great Father 210xl engine snagged from a slagged Puma. Firepower is provided by 2 Lb-x AC/5s, and a pair of ERMLs in the Hunch, another ERML on the head, and 2 ERSLs mounted to each arm. Salvaged clan double heatsinks keep her running cool and a quartet of jump jets give her the mobility necessary to match the rest of the command lance. The Alpha Strike card for Sister Jeanne.
