So, I was rewatching the opening cutscene in Hitman 3, and the server reconnected... ...which reset the cutscene. I'm rewatching like two minutes of runup for the last thirty seconds or so. I know it's a commonly harped-on point, but the always online connection of Hitman WoA is... frustrating!

Skate Story's control system feels like an exact middle point between Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Pro Skater. It's very forgiving, you can do tricks with minimal worry, but to maximize points and combos, you're going to need to be good at timing the little minigames.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the lore Skate Story's building. There's a lot of very fun thematic parallels between literal skate culture and the grand mythologizing which the game is doing - watching eyes disdainful of your public nuisance status being key objectives you have to skate through, its 👍

Heart of the Machine is like. HORRIFICALLY good. Like, I'm scared of how it could separate me with a major chunk of my life kind of good. The theme is incredible, and it already feels like it's delivering on the promised tone and story. It's a self-directed narrative game, like my favorite 4Xes.
