My doctor asked me if I minded his use of AI to summarize summary my appt yesterday, so first I told him why I mind and then I consented because I wanted to see the summary it generated. It listed a medication I don't take and have never taken on my list of current meds, so here we are.

I've said a lot of negative things about GenAI, but I could actually see a limited use for it as a practice tool for learning the bones of clearer communication. The BASIC programming language was useful for this up to a point, but a natural language engine would be better.

From pictures I've seen, I suspect that some of the people who complain of not being able to breathe through a mask are wearing the thing too low on the nose. It needs to rest high up, on the cartilage. When it rests on the soft part it can narrow the air passages and make breathing difficult.

USPS Informed Delivery showed that I had a letter coming from the IRS. PANIC! Had I made a mistake on my return or worse, had I run afoul of some kind of profiling? No. The letter (IRS Notice CP321J) offered to pay me up to $1000 per year if I'm making contributions to an IRA.
