Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026I was so close to putting kirby air ride on my list. As much as I love the game and it's an all time favorite, I don't necessarily think it's had a big impact on who I am. It's the best game though. 010

Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Finally, Splatoon 3 helped me move out of my parents' house. It had been out for a bit, but eventually I started visiting some friends at their apartment so we could play together. I would bring a TV and Switch setup with me and we'd have 4 TVs set up in one room to play. I now live with the. 110
Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Pokemon Sword's significance to me is that it got me into the shiny hunting community. I had previously done some Masuda hunts, but the Crown Tundra was what got me started with full odds hunting. 110
Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Played Overwatch throughout college when that came out. Lots of fun times with friends I had made. Initially made my first discord server so that I could play Overwatch with friends too. I'm not going back to this game. 110
Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Not too much to say about Ocarina of Time 3D, but for some reason 3D Zelda games were always intimidating to me. I would usually watch my brother play Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, but this was my first attempt at one myself. 110

Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Pokemon Origins was an MMO that was playable with BYOND. Had a really fun time playing it each day and talking with people. Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Roblox was my first experience with an online game in which I was able to meet friends. I've even got some friends I met there that I still talk to to this day. It's sad to see what a lot of it has become today, but I wouldn't take back my time with it. 120

Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026Decided to go through the 9 games that I feel either shaped who I am, or had a large part in connecting me to new people in life. Ordered games by how they impacted my life chronologically. These aren't necessarily my favorite games. I do not intend to go back to Roblox or Overwatch as they are. 170
Galactoast @galactoast.standingintheodds.com · 24/09/2026I feel similar about Overwatch. I would not come close to playing it anymore, but it was a big part in making friends in college for me when it released.
