This might just be the single rarest thing I've encountered in Pokemon. I threw 8 rocks at a Tauros before it fled. After the initial turn Tauros has a 90.01% chance to flee each turn. I haven't factored in the first turn into the probability yet, but this is at least a 1 in a million chance.

Was worried I wouldn't manage to find a full odds shiny this month, but found a Doduo tonight after 10368 random encounters. This is phase #19 for Tauros, and the first Doduo that's taken me more than one ball to catch.
