In his final years STEVE McQUEEN traded Hollywood for a hangar at Santa Paula Airport. He lived in a converted loft above it, restored a 1945 Stearman biplane on the floor below, and was taught to fly by local instructor Sammy Mason.

So many declared wannabe presidential candidates in France plus a cohort of politicians openly "thinking [loudly] about it at breakfast" that it looks increasingly like a season of Pokémon rather than pre-campaign period. 🙄

I have had it with this. There was a NOTAM that the GPS jamming activities were taking place in the area. Pilots must check NOTAMs prior to departure, especially commercial pilots. It is part of the damn job. If you need GPS to fly then reconsider your career choices.

The Kawasaki C-2 is mad powerful. At MTOW, it has a thrust-to-weight ratio of ~0.38, better than most 1st-gen jet fighters. Normal for a modern transport? NO! That’s ~1.3×–1.5× higher than C-17, A400M, C-5M, and C-130J

I don't know if I love it... I'd rather see CCS going exp as well. But this is factual and a good reminder that there is a fine line between what-if scenarios & forecasts. It's ok to explore variables. But too many "creative scenarios" get labelled as robust forecasts. Don't sell prophecies!
