Told my wife that #ACOTAR reminded me of teen/YA fiction but grown up a little bit. Tropes, etc. That wasn't an insult. People deserve to enjoy the things they liked then and have those things grow with them. Applies to genres as much as series. Looking forward to the sequels when I get to them.
