Yesterday I heard that the games legend, Richard 'Levelord' Gray has just passed away. Many designers from his era had huge egos, but he was a very sweet and gentle soul, and, as a mutual friend said 'interested in everything and everyone'. Offering up a cup of Yorkshire Tea for you, Richard! ❤️

I just told @asianastroboy.bsky.social the exact barometric pressure based on my level of headache- 1000hpa. If it helps anyone, I'm working out what pressures cause them for me - 995 is a nasty headache, 990 would be extreme pain. 1026 (high pressure) starts to get painful, far above 1030 vpainful.

After using Wordpress for year, I made the mistake of choosing a new theme but wanted to change elements of it. The only way to do this seemed to be through PageLayer which was incredibly clunky and awkward and I couldn't change the key things I wanted to adjust 😫

Writers!! What did you use to build your websites? I've been using Wordpress but Pagelayer just destroyed everything when I tried a redesign and I'm ready to burn it and start again. Something that offers easy management, visuals, minimal coding, contact form and newsletter options!

Very worrying article about the Bartz v Anthropic case. I only discovered this when searching to see if any other authors have experienced big US publishers attempting to claim their authors' shares of the Anthropic payout, and for reverted rights works. It appears there are many.

Ah, thank you! I visualized how it would work for film or tv all the way through writing Alfie Bloom. I have all the real world locations in mind! It was close to being picked up by big and small studios a few times but never made it over the line. I’ll forever dream of a Hayao Miyazaki adaptation!

So sad! I think Sugarhill's jumpers are very similar in terms of quirkiness, size and quality. Sadly I haven't posted enough to please the algorithm so might not get many responses! Do check out Disturbia's dresses. Joe Browns have occasional Joniesque item but I've had stunning coats from there.
