I have always wanted a LP12, finally got one last year. I upgraded the power supply this year to a Lingo 4, turned out I had more 45s than I thought and it was a fankle to switch the adapter each time. Out of the turntables I’ve owned it is my favourite. So much so I’ve given the others to my kids.

Sketch of Barnbougle Castle. The current building dates from 1881, the original building was constructed in the 13th century by the Mowbury’s a Norman family (what did the Normans ever do for us?). Watercolour version will get done once other projects are done first, write a story and illustrate it.

Yesterday for the second time I had a 5k cycle on my partner’s electric Brompton. Woke up early due to discomfort in my heart area. I felt fine when I was cycling plus most of it was downhill. So was completely unaware of exceeding 155bpm which should be my max. No bike for now 🙁 Off to talk to Doc…
