It's almost time for The Company's favourite show to start but the TV's off...And Mama is fast asleep. Guess they'll have to take matter into their own tiny hands! Kirby Guardian episode 17 is here: YouTube - youtu.be/Bu1KCKgaZEM Newgrounds - www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/...

The alternate ending, where Ribbon just gets fucking activated. Fairies aside, the animation process for episode 17 should only take about 2 days until it's finished. After that; the usual. Sound effects, the thumbnail and it'll be ready to go on Patreon first. No release dates, you know the drill!

I just noticed that the colour correction I added makes her look a lot like her mother here, but I want it to be known that this was not how I decided on Bow's colours in episode 13.

Important rules for the "age verification" era of the internet that we're living in: 1. Do not do age verification. 2. If you have to do age verification, cheat. Do not under any circumstances give them your real ID.

Kirby Guardian Comic 17: Toxic Magic Water

At Adeleine's house, Ribbon is on the floor, visibly affected by the heat.

Ribbon - It's waaay too hot! Is it always like that on this planet?!
Adeleine - Just in the south. The Popopo Islands can get scorching hot but luckily, we're surrounded by water.
Ribbon - I feel like I'm gonna melt, lassie! My house was on the north of Ripple Star...
Adeleine - You'll get used to it before winter drops. I've never seen temperatures go as high before and I've been here for almost 7 years. Want a drink?
Ribbon - Whiskey?
Adeleine - You wanna get cooler or not?
Ribbon - ...You got more of that "soda"?
Adeleine - I have carbonated water.
Ribbon - Eeeeh?! "Carbonated water"?!
Adeleine - You didn't have that either on Ripple Star?
Ribbon - Nooo. That sounds dangerous and toxic and gross!

Now on the couch, Adeleine is offering Ribbon a green can while holding on herself.

Adeleine - You wouldn't believe how they make soda...
Ribbon - I willnae die from it, yes?
Adeleine - I KNOW the kind of shit you eat... Bottoms up.
Adeleine - So?
Ribbon - ... It's like... I'm, like, drinking the soda... But then, no.
Adeleine - Isn't it great?
Adeleine - The same effervescence and way less sugar. You can have that at any time!
Ribbon - Yeh, but it dinnae taste fun! That was the thing with soda: It was FUN! I may as well just drink regular water.
Adeleine - Just drink the DAMN water, Ribbon.
Ribbon - ...I admit, drinking "toxic water" sounds cool.
Adeleine - "Carbonated". We also call it "Sparkling water".
Ribbon - Ooh, I like that name! It's like magic water!

"Buzz buzz..." Meet Bad Buzz, Ribbon's persona. A shady bee of very few words and with a nasty stinger to boot! Ribbon is one playful fairy and loves to dress up. This helped her cope with her lack of confidence by having a version of herself that doesn't care about how others perceive her.

Ribbon dressed up as her Bad Bee alter ego. A stripped dress, fluffy dark slippers, dark fingerless gloves, a fluffy scarf and a stinger.

While Bad Buzz is played to be crass, gross and mean, Ribbon could never do that to those she holds dear.

A character to look up to, for her confidence only, but who, unlike her fairy alter ego, does deserves everything that happens to her. Mostly due to her nasty personality.

Ribbon has a ton of fun dressing up as Bad Buzz but knows this is only temporary. Still, it brings her joy being a more villainous type. Ribbon has a thing for those.

Fairies do not wear make up, everything is natural. But some plants can accentuate some traits. Ribbon uses them to get this sleazy and dark look in her eyes.

RAVENOUS little fairy finds true love. Thank you for watching Kirby Guardian episode 16!

On the left, Adeleine, holding a plate with a slice of cream fruit cake, looking a bit concerned at Ribbon's table manners.

On the right, Ribbon is holding a slice of cake with both hands, eating it like a ferocious animal.

"One-Trick Pony" was originally planned to be titled "Defeatist", which is funny due to it being the only Company theme I had struggles with, leaving it for the next day after loathing it, etc... The final version, I'm very happy with and I've seen it appear a few times in people's "Top favs" lists.

Tonight, I'm finishing episode 16's animation, no matter what. Also, I made a health potion! At some point, I'll just commit and buy those rounded glass flasks.

My latest homemade apple cider. The red tint is due to frozen fruit syrup I added before fermentation.

This one is sweeter than the previous ones I've made.

Homemade pizza and drinks are always good but nothing beats homemade pizza and drinks as a reward for finishing all your monthly goals. 👌 I made a nice spinach, olive, mushroom, chorizo, cheese and honey pizza alongside my iconic pink cider. c:

Homelade spinach, olive, mushroom, chorizo, cheese and honey pizza! It tastes real good.
Stuffed crust, as always!

Pink apple cider. The pink is due to the fruits I added. This is my fouth one. Number 2 and 3 were green and yellow respectively.
