Yup. I was at home visiting mum. We were both very wistful.

There were three if them that marched to their own drum and I felt they were the most interesting but not necessarily the most successful. But I guess it depends what you measure success by.

There were loads of middling games that got hours of playtime despite. A) you had a limited collection to choose from B) You'd often have paid for it. C) The AAA titles got played to death and you'd get bored and pick up something you'd given up on in case it had magically improved since last time.
