There's two big issues with bluesky's proposed new moderation policies 1. Defining whats consensual and whats not in a fictional work is basically impossible and would include many works people take 0 offense to 2. The intent of the rule in itself is bad to begin with, even if moderated perfectly

Hi! I haven't been on this account in a really long time - I have been using my SFW account but I've been drawing NSFW again! I'm gonna post my normal stuff still but I did wanna give a heads up I have gotten into Arcane and I've been enjoying Jinco/Jilco as a ship.

“It’s ok to make traumatic art if you’re working through your own trauma” This restriction is repugnant. We live in a traumatic world. You don’t need to have met a suffering requirement to put a traumatic topic in your art.

A sketch/doodle of yarnaby from poppy playtime chapter 4 looking content as he lays on harley sawyer/the doctor from the same media, who is face down on the ground.

it seems i have another horrible, horrible man in my head. sketchpage be upon ye. #art #PoppyPlaytime #PoppyPlaytimeChapter4 #HarleySawyer

A sketchpage of Harley Sawyer / The Doctor from Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. Various sketches include Sawyer standing idly in his robotic body, hunched over to resemble his concept art, one of his robotic bodies during his death, and him examining his new robotic body. Two sketches are him depicted as a human with his face blocked out by his TV screen eye, one where he's idly sitting with legs crossed while writing on a clipboard, and the other has yarnaby laying across his lap as he looks annoyed at the toy's presence.

I want to say yes. 🍓

Top text: This is my dad
On february 9, 2009 he passed away. I was 15

Top middle: A series of four portraits of my dad throughout his life, getting more covered in harsh black shadow as the portraits progress.

Middle text: Today is May 25, 2024
As of tomorrow, I will have lived most of my life without him

Bottom: Three drawings, on the left is me as a child looking up at my dad, smiling. In the middle is me as a teenager, looking to the left and crying. On the right is me as an adult, looking to the left still and pensive.

Bottom text: It's a strange milestone.

Top text: I like to think he'd be proud of me but I wonder

Middle: A figure, myself, facing left and divided halfway into two panels. On the left it's bright as I'm draped in shadow, with the text "I'm trans. Would he even understand?" On the right, I'm bright but facing away from a shadowy hatched mass, with the text "I'm estranged. Would he forgive me?"

Bottom text: "I want to say yes. But truthfully, I don't know. (in smaller text) I'll never know."

A series of descending images. At the top is my dad looking over my shoulder as I draw, with the text "I was 15 when he died. I barely knew myself at 15, did I really know him? When I imagine him looking over my shoulder..."

In the middle, the same me looking back behind me at a void. The text reads, "is it really him?" With the word "him" underlined.

Bottom, me staring back ahead, but with my head resting against my hands and pensive.

A large black void, and in the center of it me with the same pose as before, small and tiny and isolated.

It’s never too late to start masking again. Repeat covid infections are not inevitable, no matter how much the government tries to say they are. When you wear a mask you help normalize them as public health tools. You make mask bans harder. You increase disability visibility, which we need now

People are trying to think of ways to be cute about this and: do not. Do not call the feds with spurious reports. Do not play word games about extra terrestrials. Simply do not interact and do not answer questions about other people and always, always, demand a judicial warrant

You don't know anyone but natural born American citizens, full stop. And if you're white and border patrol or ICE starts asking questions, you ask to see their warrant. Don't you do nazi shit.

alright you wanna know how to support trans people? hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit. Support places that have trans people working front of house, and make sure owners know that's part of why you're there.

Why is "hints of diesel" in some cannabis strains used as a marketing point? Next time I go to PDX someone's going to hand me a joint named SKUNK SHARTS and say "yeah man this is the best on the market right now it'll green you out" and then i'll have to smoke skunk sharts!!!

If you're not good at making art and you want art, your options are 1: make bad art 2: work with a good artist to get good art. The end. You'll notice that AI generation is not on this list. That's because it's not art, but a method of plagiarism that kills the Earth. Hope this helps.
