Wow, that brings back memories... Even back then, I couldn't really see what I was working on.. but I could just about make out what way a component was pointing, so all was good.. These days with my old man eyes, varifocals, magnification etc.. I'll pass! 🥸

The big magnifier is essential these days. Ten years ago @futurewas8bit.bsky.social and I were running through all sorts of mods like these whilst working on the divMMC future. Don't think either of us would be doing things like that now. From - blog.tynemouthsoftware.co.uk/2018/01/desi...

Oh noes! I get anxiety every time I interact with anything #MicroSlop. I'd hate to think what it might be like as my viewer watching my tripe back ;D

@jasesdesouza.bsky.social Another classic, brought to the expanded Vic. I have yet to give it a whirl, but I hope to fire it up soon. milasoft64.itch.io/galaga-for-t...

I thought I could remember house pipe bands around these parts, but I guess I can't coz even I would have been too young to remember one in 76. I guess it was that John Craven telling me lies 😉

It'll probably live on for 2-5 years in a daily driver. But yeah, it might become a 'charged spare' for jumpstarting as really don't trust my 'lithium' start pack on anything other than my old volvo 💥⚡🔥 etc

Prob leave it to garage, as it's in a tight spot under the rear wheel arch. Bosh Silvers are generally my go-to. Might try a light weight (yeah I know doing a big poo is cheaper), but that'll probably need something something £$€ alternator. 96.2% sure it's a factory fitted silver in there now.

Yeah, I've got a acumate? It's very good, but you do need to plug it in :D Was one of those things, didn't use it last weekend coz heat.. and I guess I might not have used it the weekend before. Normally ok 3+ weeks. But I guess it's time for a new battery at service next month. It's 10years old!

Ah well car battery too low to start, so I guess I'm not going anywhere today. It's too muggy anyway! Luckily for content purposes here's an video form a couple of weeks back. I guess river is lower today as it's not rained since 1826. But saying that.. Rain forecast for Tuesday? #InsertVincePicHere
