That is so terrible, I am so sorry Kelly. When my husband was sick last year with an illness that needed a specialist and needed to be treated quickly - I had to call all the surrounding STATES for doctors. Insanity.

Trump wants to promote domestic industry. Yes, this makes sense. However, domestic industry will not be built overnight - it will take years and years. Meanwhile, the tariffs he plans to enact will cause great economic suffering for Americans & push away allies when we need them..

Trump advisors want to "shrink bank regulation" putting our economic foundation at risk. No one "likes" regulation but it is critically necessary because many will pursue their self-interest with no regard for the repercussions. Failures like SVB and First Republic will be a regular event.

Trump not only walked away from trying to overthrow an election (and inciting an insurrection) - he was elected President. So yes, the rich, powerful and famous continue to not be held accountable. It's discouraging and frightening and when you see it over and over - it's easy to lose faith.

The Lancet estimates that 68,000 people die annually due to lack of healthcare or denied healthcare. Since corporations are people, then why are health insurance corporate policies that deny life saving medicine to patients who will die without that medicine, not deemed as intentional murder?

A retirement age of 70 will make us tied for the oldest in the world I believe - along with Libya. This avg lifetime benefits for all new retirees is cut by 20% hurting lower/income beneficiaries who rely on it. All this against a life expectancy of 79 (48th in the world).

They are going to deport 8.5M undocumented immigrants - how else are they going to make out the labor shortfalls (we are already in a job deficit of 4.7M). Make older people continue to work. And for those who can't physically or mentally?

For me, I go when I think I am going to die and I don't want to. So many people that can't find GPs or appointments when needed. Another issues is getting in to see a specialist when needed. It can take MONTHS. Can't imagine how much worse this is for the disabled..
