Horizon Worlds is currently showing a #VR recording of a Coldplay concert in Wembley, and it’s been really well done, with a variety of camera angles and unique shots that you’d never see from the audience! @futuremeetings.bsky.social checked it out together for… uh… research 😂
Screenshot from the VR concert. You are feet away from Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, as he walks down the stage and gestures outwards to the audience. A close up behind the piano on stage where Chris Martin is playing and signing. Behind, you can see the packed Wembley stadium. A view from behind the band, as if you are one of the band members looking out at the huge audience. A view of the drummer (presumably Will Champion) in a mask playing as the screen behind explodes in purple and green streaks.

Over the last few months, we've had a few #TFOM trips to #VR concerts in #Meta Horizon Worlds - the latest was #Coldplay 🙌 The technology behind this has gotten so impressive, and it's amazing to be able to watch concerts with friends around the world 🎊🎶 Highly recommend checking them out!

New asteroid grain trading cards created by JAXA curation! @futuremeetings.bsky.social submitted the suggestion for the “collaboration” card, under the code name, Celery Penn! The grain resembles holding hands, with text “we are always stronger when we work together, even when we’re worlds apart”.

Went to a K-pop concert for NCT DREAM which had been recorded in 3D for #VR! It was hosted on Horizons, so you could go with friends (in this case, @futuremeetings.bsky.social buddies!) and while it’s obviously different to a billion people concert, it’s a front row seat and great social experience!
Snap from the concert. On the stage immediately in front of my virtual seat is the seven-member boy band NCT DREAM, dancing to one of their numbers. Another front row seat view. The band are silhouetted against the stage lights as the song ends.
