The TTC and Union Station should have a non-compete clause for advertisers. This is so gross.

These comments, in response to a development next to more than a dozen high rise towers is bonkers. Meanwhile, in the same neighbourhood...
A poster opposing recent legislation that will have negative impacts on tenants has been vandalized with spray paint in a neighbourhood with over a dozen rental apartment towers.

If those concerns had been listened to, we wouldn't live here. But now these people want to prevent other people from living here. It's deranged.
The other side of the leaflet repeats some of the same concerns as the front and adds, "increased shadows and lack of sunlight", "noise and summer heat", schools at capacity, parking at a premium. They claim it is up to us to preserve high park neighbourhoods liveability (by preventing more people from living here??)

This leaflet was just dropped off at my apartment. My apartment is in a 27 storey building, in a complex of high rises, with over high rises on adjacent blocks, including the block where these towers are proposed. The exact same concerns were likely raised when our buildings were proposed.
Leaflet protesting against a proposed development of high rise residential towers that says, "Protect High Park North" and claims the buildings will be taller than Niagara falls, threaten black oaks, reduce green space, demolish 11 affordable homes, cause excessive winds and spillover parking on our streets.

Here's the spot I was thinking of. Stairs on the right leading to a crosswalk on the left. Paving changes, but no signs requiring cyclists to stop or yield to pedestrians. People wait for a gap and they cross. Which spots are you thinking of?

Sometimes it feels like the emphasis is on the wrong syllable in the road safety.messaging in this city.

It feels very Toronto, that when we built a huge, new elevated expressway across the waterfront we put zero effort into trying to make it look good from any angle.

Oh my god, this is embarrassing. These are witnesses the government brought to defend themselves against the charter challenge?
Screenshot from the decision on the charter challenge against removal of bike lanes in Toronto. The government brought laypersons as witnesses to share their anecdotes about traffic congestion, including a former fire chief who contradicted, without evidence, comments made by the current fire chief who said bike lanes haven't reduced response time.

Anonymous trolls will claim it takes them 20 minutes to drive three blocks because of bike lanes, meanwhile, I spent more time standing still than moving during a 300 metre walk in the middle of the city because of signal timing meant to benefit drivers.

Some folks love posting videos of cyclists acting reckless. I like sharing videos of cyclists acting normal. #biketo

Guys, it was snowy!

Did they do a shadow study to ensure that newer condo wasn't impacted by the shadows of my pre-existing apartment tower?

Almost caught them being friendly, or plotting something.
Margot on the left, Breakfast on the right. Lounging on the bed, looking like they were just interrupted in the middle of talking about me.
