I remember the thing that put me off most when it was first airing--putting out a recap episode that included a bunch of sincerely interesting lore details about the Creations, bookended with meta jokes and commentary. You might recognize this bit as a meme that circulated when the episode aired.

Meteora, a character from the anime series Re:Creators, making a comment on how people tend to sensationalize how recap episodes reflect the state of a show: "'The quality is getting worse,' or 'the industry is in a crisis.'"

Oh I know he has and you’re absolutely correct, I just love the moments in Geass when Lelouch does something he thinks will work and then gets briefly outplayed so we get these expressions—and if anyone could draw them out, it would be a fellow schemer like Char. Lelouch absolutely wins, though.

As an example of this needing much more QA time: two indie games listed as shovelware, a game added to Romance because of the word "romance," and an actual romance-centric game not even in the Romance filter. This needed way more time to cook than it clearly got.

Honestly? That's actually sick as hell as a name, if it ties into the plot about these Gundam being used for turf fights basically having their Gundams as "placeholders" for the folks fighting in them. Or maybe I'm just trying to justify it. Either way, I dig it.

A definition of the term qux, which is a commonly defined metasyntactic variable in computer science/a placeholder name.
