Shatter me Inspo from a song that made me think of Lace so have this personal take of the Lost Lace fight! Also, by suggestion, this is in my ko-fi shop as well as a desktop wallpaper~ ko-fi.com/s/86b7082e8c #silksong #hornet #lostlace

Illustration of Hornet from Silksong fighting against Lost Lace. She is charging ahead with with her needle in one hand and Everbloom in the other, under her red cloak which is bursting with faydown feathers behind it. Lace is defending with her pin, black with void but also "chipping" like cracks in glass in various small parts of her body, exposing her true white self underneath. There are void tendrils bursting from other her, waving and curling across the canvas.

the current fandom landscape hates ambiguity and open endings — things must be conclusive and supported by lore or else thats bad writing!!!

120

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

lmao its a problem in so many fandoms nowadays. ive snooped in the ff7r fandom from time to time and ive seen ppl persistently insist that whatever soulmate dream things going on between cloud and aerith are purely platonic bec they havent kissed lol

010

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

it’s also clear too that this ending is very open to lara and mari meeting again once lara completes her journey of self-discovery. lara spent the whole show feeling trapped by her duties as a princess and she deserves to go exploring with the two feet that she fought to keep

110

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

my only real critique for sayolara is that i think it needs maybe 3 more eps to underline what lara and mari are to each other, as mari’s feelings for lara have honestly been very ambiguous for most of the show, as well as to have a lisa vs mari confrontation

140

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

and the amount of times that they said they loved each other over and over again 😭 truly dont understand the minds of the current general fandom

230

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

genuinely confused by the ppl mad about sayolara’s ending not being yuri enough when the girls were literally holding each other as they were free falling in the sky — that’s the romance trope of all time

and all the other oyaji bl authors ive loved in the 2010s have turned into josei authors 😭 im less bitter about that bec so far they’ve been fantastic writers and are filling a space for an equally small niche

020

laura @furesburg.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

im sure niyama and scaberiko’s new bl are perfectly fine but im just allergic to them bec i keep being reminded of how theyre probably never gonna make oyaji bl again……..

[ #PrincessTutu ] Something I drew for a friends birthday.

digital drawing showing ahiru and fakir from the anime princess tutu. ahiru is a girl with pale skin and pink hair in a white ballet dress. Fakir is a boy with long black hair, slightly tanner skin and he is wearing a white dress shirt and white pants. They are standing on the surface of water surrounded by white swans flying away in front of a blue sky and crescent moon. Fakir is lifting ahiru up and the tips of their noses are touching.
