This isn't even the first time I've done something like this. 🙄

Funwalker @ Live2D comms open!! @funwalker.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I had been trying to stamp onto regular vinyl, which wasn't working too well, but I bought some printable stuff and it's working really well. ✨ ✨ ✨

A new skirt design: Magpies! Magpies represent luck, both good and bad, and boy, does that feel appropriate to my life right now. #art #original

Close-up of Maya digitally illustrating a repeating pattern of black-and-white magpies in flight, surrounded by white stars and sweeping motion lines on a warm taupe background. A hand holding a stylus is visible working on the artwork on a drawing tablet.

I must have lost my mind. immediately the first cover on my trimmed list is kind of ass. (i'm sorry to whoever recorded this) Dare I begin paring this list down even more... all... 159... covers... ah..........

Funwalker @ Live2D comms open!! @funwalker.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Anyways, I got a hankering, so I went to go pull up the playlist I trimmed down just to have my favorite covers on it, which I thought would maybe only be 40 or so, and-- ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE VIDEOS??!?!?!

An artist I like recently did a little micro cover of Phony, which reminded me of that time I set out to catalogue every cover of Phony on youtube, a task which I thought would take me maybe a week, but that I spent 2 months doing??? This was impossible btw. There were like 30 new covers every day.

Are you ready for some freaking BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS?? Cause I have them and I'm gonna give 'em to you. Ok here we go:

scrapbook-style digital collage. a piece of notebook paper reads "book recs with rad! theme: books with NO ROMANCE" there is a digital drawing of rad's fursona, a blue starry red panda with horns leaning up against a pile of books, and two mushroom paper cutouts are in the corners.

'tis the season of art prompt lists. i made my own list for OC-tober this year! 🎨 have fun with it. feel free to do as much or as little as you want, repeat the same prompts multiple times, combine with other lists, whatever is fun for you! #OC-tober #OC-tober2026 #OCsky

TITLE: OC-Tober Art Prompts
Description: it's OC-tober, the perfect excuse to spend the whole month drawing your
original characters. you can approach these prompts with whatever degree
of seriousness and effort you want. this isn't a legally binding list of obligations,
it's just ideas to get the gears turning!
the list: • finish an unfinished piece (maybe even more than one)
• design a new character, or finish an unfinished design
• rework a character design that needs some polish
• design a movie poster or a magazine cover
• draw a single-page comic or short storyboard
• draw your OCs in an alternate universe
• draw your OCs in another art style
• find a blank art meme/challenge to do
• draw something you find difficult, using your OC
• draw an OC at a different age than you usually do
• redraw a scene from a movie or TV show with OCs
• draw an OC cosplaying one of the characters that
inspired their design
• redraw a childhood drawing of an OC
• draw two OCs interacting who you haven't before
• play with alternate color palettes
Footnote: re-interpret however you want or combine with other lists! the only
rules are have fun, take care of your wrists, and don't use AI.

"But Sydney," you say. "Isn't it going to be a board game?" However, I'm swiftly walking away plugging my ears. I'm already down the street. I'm boarding a bus. I'm at the airport. I'm sitting comfortably in my window seat, laptop open, coding in fancy card tricks.

I have learned that what I want is a scroll saw and they're not as expensive as I thought but also I can't throw another hobby onto the pile.... not now anyways... >_> In other news, I made a little card generator that visualizes them based on a csv file. Pretty good for a prototype, I think.

Every time I'm like, sick and bedridden, I make a new game, it seems. This one is a board game that I'll probably never get properly made, but I can dream. Dream of one day owning a jigsaw... to cut little board game pieces out with... to make silly little board games with too many pieces...

The measurement system for ghost heart isn't complicated, so it's not a big, big deal but... even still, I don't really want to retype all of the measurements I've included thus far.... but I think I must...... 😩

000

Funwalker @ Live2D comms open!! @funwalker.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Also you push up against the problem that like... two humans can occupy a 5ft space realistically, so making the default unit 6ft feel even less realistic than the spacing in dnd. I initially made it 6ft for movement purposes rather than spacing purposes, which I think works in its favor mostly.

100

Funwalker @ Live2D comms open!! @funwalker.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I made a silly fake measurement called "metes" in ghost heart, which is 6ft--the basic unit of measurement (like 5ft in dnd), but the longer I sit on it, the more I sour on it. I feel like it should really be more like 3ft, because designing maps around it is honestly kind of annoying.
