I love to look at the public art in and around Edmonton. My favourite is probably "High Jinx" by artist Paul Freeman. The deer sculptures are on top of both the Northbound and Southbound Avonmore LRT station shelter roofs. More info: www.edmontonarts.ca/public-art/h...

Let's expand out even more! The city block below the one where Freecloud Records is located has this monstrosity of a parking lot (bottom right of the attached picture)! It takes over 1/4 of the space of a city block.

Well, if his customers are ready to do a little bit of walking (and couldn't we all use a bit more exercise), there's Impark Lot #448. Looking at their website (lots.impark.com/imp?utm_sour...) we learn it has 22 spaces, is also open 24/7, and also has an hourly rate of 2$/hour.

Now I'm gonna pick on Freecloud Records because he went through the effort of contacting a newspaper to air his grievances (to be fair, that is apparently the opinion of multiple Chinatown businesses). The screenshot is a satellite picture from Google Maps.
