Finally did a bit more painting. 😀 Probably nearly done now, just a few details to pick out, and then the bases. ##Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Not done much painting lately, but got a bit more done on these. Still a bit messy, but starting to look like something. 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #MiniaturePainting #KitBash #Warhammers

1st bit of painting for while. 😮 This might be my favourite stage, first colours on, I don't have to worry about being tidy, they start to come alive. I like the Rebel Lord's coat, and the Space Marine armour could be a bit darker. 😀 #Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

The He'rd is done, for now. Some came out better than others, but it was a fun project. Now back to working on the Star Orphans. 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Two more "Beastmen" Auxiliaries, still a bit scruffy, but getting there. 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Started on a second Auxiliary force for the Star Orphans. These "Beastmen" operate as a well armoured close assault force, armed with potent Las-Pulsers. (Side note-I had forgotten how tiny Tau are compared to other races.) 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

First "Human" Auxiliary to support the Star Orphans. Armed with an antique slug-thrower and an advanced respirator to aid in treating a rare condition known as 'Mon-keigh Stink' 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Two more Star Orphans, one with a rare pattern "energy weapon", and a duelist. 😀 Still need tidying up, backpacks and other gubbins, but I'm pretty happy with how they're coming together. #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Bit more progress on my Star Orphans Space Marines. Added a bit more to the possible Apothecary. Started on the second one, some type of Champion maybe? 😀 #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

New project. 😀 Going to put together a squad, 10ish models probably, of non-standard Space Marines. Here's the first Star/Stellar Orphan, an Apothecary type in Terminator Armour. #Nerdlings #Miniatures #KitBash #Warhammers

Some thoughts on new Necromunda. 🤔 N17 has its problems, rules spread over 20+ books, inconsistent rules between books etc. A consolidation of the N17 rules would have been a better idea than a new edition. It's still early days, so I'll wait and see, just hoping they don't change it too much.

A couple of Kroot that have sat unfinished for a loooong time, still might change the bases. Pretty happy with how the bow turned out on this one. Plus a couple others who need some highlights and basing.😀 #Nerdlings #MiniaturePaintin11g #Miniatures #Warhammers #M/G/W

W.I.P. at various stages of completion, including some Eldar Corsair kitbashes that were some of the first minis I put together when I got back into the hobby a few years ago. 😀 #Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #KitBash #M/G/W #Necromunda #Warhammers

The bases need neatening up a bit, but these Cawdor are pretty much done. 😀 Really enjoying painting these. Will I ever paint the rest of the gang? Who knows, but the others shouldn't take as long now I've worked out the method. #Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #Necromunda #Warhammers

Bit more done. 😀 Tried to bring out the light colours with some highlights, probably needs another wash to bring it down again. May have got a bit carried away with the rust effect, but I just love it so much. #Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #Necromunda #Warhammers

Some very early W.I.Ps. 😀 3 Cawdor for an Ash Wastes Gang, and a Xenos House Guard for my Rebel Lord. Trying to use some lighter colours, also got a magnifying head torch thing, so every so slightly neater than usual to these old eyes. 🧓 #Nerdlings #MiniaturePainting #Miniatures #Necromunda
