I think "This is your brain on drugs" is more famous. The image sits with you. However, "I learned if by watching you" is much more quotable and referenced in other media. Often in hilarious ways. So maybe that is it's own kind of fame. Huh, maybe it's more famous with young people cause of that.

An adaptation of Harry Turtledove's World War series. Aliens invade Earth during WWII but were expecting knights on horseback and guys with spears. It goes poorly for everyone. Keep it down to Earth tonaly, mix characters from the book and new characters for the show. Not a 1-1 adaptation but close.

Just got back from Supergirl. Incredibly fun film. Liked it a lot. Great acting for our hot mess Kara. Also great and subtle theming about how being good inspires people, especially those that need protecting. Also various unhealthy ways of dealing with trauma.

Finally got around to finishing Volume 3 of Kieron Gillen's "The Power Fantasy". It continues to be excellent and everything I want in a supers comic. I think it also does a good job at showing how all the superpowers were wrong in some way.

Ken Kesey, the Merry Prankster and author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. My AP Lit teacher was friends with him and he died just before we read the book in her class. It was sad. I did not like the book and from the limited stories she told about him I do not think we would have been friends.
