Oh I apologize, I haven't been active on dA for a while due to discomfort with how the site handles AI generated content (and also since notes have been very buggy for me there) You can still get your MYO fumi slot redeemed here (or on TH) though, just by DMing me with your design for approval!

sorry I'm replying so late, I completely agree with you! Letting a program do it for them is a creative dead end. Their actual art won't be improved by using it, if it ever even sees the light of day again 💔

It's the Care Bones! ⭐🌈 #art #pokemon #cubone

Pokemon fanart, digital drawing of a group of five cubone designed to look like care bears. There is a blue shooting star themed one called Wishbone, a yellow sunshine themed one called Sunnybone, a pink heart themed one called Cuddlebone, a green four-leaf clover one called Luckybone, and finally a grey rain cloud themed one called Lazybone. Instead of bones, they all carry wands representing their emblems.

Painted this Dragon field a few weeks ago #illustration #digitalart #fantasy

Digital art piece of a grassy field with a line of telegraph poles in a line going away from the viewer. The horizion has a few small bushes and there is a few large fluffy clouds in the otherwise blue sky. There are two serpentine dragons which appear to be made from glass flying. One is in between the telegraph poles and the other one is in the sky in the background

I drew the new palworld pal Ophydia! She's definitely my favorite pal now 💖🪷🐍 this was supposed to be a warm-up/practice between commissions but got a little out of hand QwQ #palworld #palworld1.0 #palworldspoilers #palworld1.0spoiler

digital illustration of the new pal from palworld Ophydia! She is a white serpent with pink lotus petals (or petal-like fins) growing from her head, sides, and tail tip. She has golden markings above her eyes, in a tiara shape, as cuffs on her tail, and two ribbons coming from underneath her and flowing over her 'shoulders'

Gilly the Maildragon🌤️🌊📬 Quivern x Pelipper/Wingull an oc I made for myself! These critters occupy the same space in my mind so this was a long time coming more character info and better image resolution here: toyhou.se/38228828.gil... #oc #pokemon #pokehybrid #palworld

digital art of a fusion between Quivern (palworld) and Pelipper/Wingull (pokemon). Her body most resembles quivern, but the ear and tail feathers resemble wingull wings, and her upper muzzle a yellow/orange wingull beak. She also has the eyes, wings, and smooth yellow/orange underside of Pelipper. She is almost entirely white with blue markings on her head, wing tips, in bands on her ear and tail feathers, the undersides of her feet, and 3 V shaped markings on her chest feathers resembling the simplified silhouettes of seabirds. 3 drawings off to the side show the following: her face from front-view with her mouth open, revealing small fangs; a close-up of her eye showcasing a gem-like chatoyancy effect; and a view inside her belly pouch showing the mailed letters and packages she carries inside.

Chlorine the water/poison Vaporeon💦 apprehended from poachers who abducted it from the wild, it is now housed in a sanctuary/ethical pokemon research facility drawing this kid helped me break through my art block!! Character info and designer credits here: toyhou.se/35059498.chl... #oc #pokemon

digital art (simple reference sheet) of my vaporeon character named Chlorine (originally designed by ToyHouse user fluffydragon2004) They have a much longer, thinner body than a typical vaporeon with pink headfins, a very large neck frill, and long back spines. Its color scheme overall is desaturated with a teal body, darker teal cat-like stripes/spots, yellowish countershading on the belly and paws, and off-white discolored patches on the right side of its face and on its right foot (vitiligo). Its left eye is very dark purple, while its right eye is a light blue. Two pictures showcase how the neck frill looks when fanned out or folded down.

The text on the picture says the following:
Chlorine Vaporeon water/poison
- (arrow pointing at the back spines) spinal fins can deliver a painful sting
highly mobile but fragile, they can flatten and slot into a specialized slit for protection
- (arrow pointing at the neck frill) quite large, used for both threat and social displays
- (arrow pointing at eyes) heterochromia
- (arrow pointing at neck frill) folds down like an umbrella when relaxed
- (arrow pointing at foot) discoloration on foot and face is vitiligo
grows slowly over time
- spots are inconsistent, they change after each use of acid armor

Holofoil whale shark ✨🦈💙 got this idea when I saw a whale shark with a little swirl mark, it reminded me of those swirls you sometimes see in old pokemon holos! #oc

digital art of whale shark character with chibi proportions. Its body is card-shaped (rectangular) with extra hind fins. Its markings loosely resemble old pokemon cards: Its back has a yellow/gold 'border' marking framing the 'front-print', which is a simple gradient covered in holographic sparkles (where a normal whale sharks spots would be). Its belly has a similar dark blue 'frame' with a print design in the center loosely resembling the backs of american pokemon cards, but with a red heart replacing where the pokeball would be (and without visible text)

The design is flexible and can be drawn with different colors/prints/holo patterns referencing pokemon card from different sets.

it's pretty common to be your own worst critic, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to improve of course! But the art you make now is part of a journey, it's a snapshot of who you are presently. I hope one day in the future, you can look back at your current art and growth with fondness ♥️

all human-made art has inherent value. even when made by children, novices, or it has visible or obvious 'flaws'. whether it's traditional, digital, photographic, written, music, etc. abstract, realism, surreal, etc. art is an expression of the artist who made it, and that's what matters most.
