I know there’s so much more work to be done but it is so encouraging to see newer generations and teachers and daycare staff really take the education of kids seriously, and that kids will know the truth.

I have one school aged child and one in part time daycare and both are wearing Orange Shirts today and have had/are having multiple learning sessions/presentations about Orange Shirt Day and are singing “Every Child Matters”. Such a stark contrast to the absolute nothing we were taught in school.

I think she does support cycling infrastructure, but she tries to make everyone heard/listened to and the loudest voices in Willowdale are often SFH dwellers who live a suburban life and can’t imagine change. She probably wants to see more demand come from the community.
