Yesterday’s adventure! Went to the Sonic art exhibit again (Hollywood edition), then Rainforest Cafe again, then Sonic Live in Concert in Riverside! My car wasn’t too happy but I certainly was :D

This year’s ASC was unbelievable. This was truly one of the best weekends of my life. I did the hard thing and went out of my comfort zone a bit, and it payed off immensely. I made so many new friends, partied hard, laughed even harder. Thanks to everyone involved! One of my favorite birthdays ever💛

My experience at ASC has improved so much in the last two days. I’ve met tons of new people, and I’ve put myself out of my comfort zone a bit. It’s not much, but it’s progress. For what it’s worth, I’m pretty proud of myself :)

I must become bolder. Braver. More courageous. It’s the only way to get where I want to be. Even if it makes me uncomfortable.

Sorry to bummer post for a sec, but what is it about loneliness in the furry fandom that just hits so much harder? Especially at cons, I swear. So many people are hanging with friends, having a good time, stepping out of their comfort zones, and I’m just kinda… existing

I know we aren’t supposed to trust late night thoughts, but geez… I’ve been feel sooooo isolated lately. Lonely for sure. Having a hard time enjoying things. Don’t even know what I’m doing with my life most of the time. I just keep saying “it’ll all work out,” and I hope that I’m right.

Pride Month was a while ago, but I say it’s cool to wear your pride whenever you want! So let’s support Junior excitedly showing off his cute lil ace pride undies! 🩲🖤🩶🤍💜 Art drawn by the lovely @daztoons.bsky.social #asexualpride #pride #gargoyle #furry #furryart #art #digitalart

Digital drawing of Junior bent over and looking back with sheepish excitement at the viewer in a pair of briefs with an asexual pride flag stripe pattern. Junior is a bright yellow gargoyle with red stripes, a pale yellow heart shaped butt and underbelly/tail, purple wing membranes, black horns, and black ear insides. He sports a fluffy red mohawk and scruffy goatee, and a red devil spade on the end of his tail, which is curled forward and wiggling with joy. He wears big, geeky, round glasses with red devil horns adorning the frames. His bucktoothed and fanged smile is wrapped in purple braces, and his ears are pierced with silver industrial barbells. He’s wearing a black leather choker and a fishnet tanktop. His hands are hidden together down in front of his thighs, which are also held close together to make his booty pop more.

Upon reading this again, I do think I was vague as to what I was referring to. I’m talking about the discourse that has been around, but that has been significantly prevalent lately due to the Barq panel at AC and the Megaplex schedule.

I don’t usually get serious here, but my mental health has not been great for a long time, and the drama circling around right now in the fandom is honestly making it so much worse at the moment. It’s hard to avoid, especially on Instagram and TikTok.

A cute, stylized illustration of “Jimothy,” a viral raccoon with short spine syndrome. He’s walking happily with colorful stars and lines around him in primary colors, along with the words “hold onto your whimsy.”

I ended up going to the Impact Raves show at The Crocodile last night and had a decent time! I had never been to a rave outside of cons, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but there we SOOOO many people there! All of the artists were incredible as well

This weekend has kinda been the most (non-convention/meetup) furry weekend of my life in terms of how many of y’all I’ve seen out and about haha I know it’s a stereotype of the Puget Sound area, but it’s hard to not buy into it when there are just SO MANY VISIBLE CRITTERS around
